Used in Cold Process Soap
This seems like a good product, but I was hoping for a blue tint in my soap. Turned grey instead.

Makes fast drying, smoothly applying, creamy masks
No scent.Mixes like Kaolin clay. Or powdered sugar. Barely any liquid or youll need more.Mixes easily and smoothly. Bery consistent. Doesnt chunk up.Goes on uniformly.Watch for the blue dye! It does striate thru the bowl, and i suspect will stain certain serfaces if not wiped or rinsed quickly.Face feels beyond baby butt soft afterwards with absolutely zero redness. This stands out as the best new clay ive tried in the last 6 months or more. Have a feeling ill be going through it quick. Its amazing.

Quick to trace when making soap
I bought this for soapmaking unfortunately it accelerated the trace which made it difficult to work with. Also, the color is very light so I will need to use a lot more product in each patch then the product suggested.

Blue is a little Suspect
I have several of the clay masks from this company, I use them on my face with my extremely sensitive skin, and I use them to make paints because I like clay basked watercolors. I have used several Cambrian blue clays and they tend to be a steely blue-gray, similar to storm clouds, not the fairly bright blue of this clay. It also tends to be a good bit denser and not as hydrophobic.I am fairly certain this clay is just Kaolinite with added pigment, either ultramarine or phthalo blue, both fine assuming they are cosmetic grade, and since the bag claims it is pure I am not sure I trust it. It is not obvious when it is in powder form, but when you add a liquid the blue pigment is very streaky. If it was actually a blue clay the color would be even since the color comes from the clay and not a pigment. It doesn't stain the skin (and I am very pale, if a thing is going to stain then it will) and is very gentle on the skin. It can stain porcelain so keep that in mind. I am still using it on my face because Kaolinite is good for my skin type and I do not have any sensitivities to the dye, but if you are sensitive to dyes I would stay away from this one. And yes, it does make a nice paint, but honestly just mix titanium dioxide and ultramarine and you get the same thing!

Not blue in soap
I bought this to dye my soaps. Unfortunately i got a greenish look instead of blue. I still like it but wasnt the color i was going for.
