So I didn't taste this or open it to check for anything because its going in my emergency hour kit and I'd like it to stay fresh. I'm giving it 4 star because the shelf life says 5 yrs and I received one from last year so I only get 4 years. That and the fact that I have no idea how good or fulfilling it is. Seems sealed tight tho
