Can this be used for fallback connection when the primary WAN connection fails?

Currently the WAN port is not active on the LM1200, so it only supports a cellular connection at this time. The WAN port functionality will be added in an upcoming firmware, which will then allow for the use of the WAN port with automatic failover to the cellular connection.

What kind of plan do you have to buy? I have it but noticed it goes by my Hotspot plans.

You will need to get a SIM card with a cellular data package. Also check with your cellular provider to make sure they have certified this hotspot on their network.

Is this compatible with Mint Mobile?

Mint uses tmobile cell network so it should work. Check with them to insure they will support internet only configuration.

My at&t service through my phone plan does not work good in my house. would this act the same way? i haven’t tried t-mobile before.

The hot spot has a similar receiver and antenna as your phone. So, if you have problems with your phone, you will have problems with this device. See first if you have reasonable coverage with your phone (at least 2 bars and ideally 3 bars) where you are planning to place the hot spot device. If not, don't go with ATT.

Publicidad confusa

Es una porquería, la publicidad es engañosa te hace creer que este producto genera una red wifi para conectar tus dispositivos inalámbricos pero no, sólo ofrece un puerto ethernet. Es un modem 4G yo lo uso en México con un chip de axios y si funcionó, sólo tuve que añadir el APN del proveedor y funciona muy bien. Lo malo es que tienes que pagar por otro dispositivo router que genere la red WIFI y puedas conectar todos tus dispositivos de forma inalámbrica. Este modelo LM1200 no trae batería ni botón de apagado/encendido tienes que dejarlo conectado siempre a la corriente eléctrica, no lo recomiendo.
