Installed this for a future EV rental for my condominium apartment unit. I wanted a 120vac outlet for trickle charging and vacuuming. What I did not like about this unit was the GFCI was upside down (grounding plug on top) which I find annoying but was an easy fix. The 220vac side is rated for 50 amps. I recall Telsa can accept 60 amps but I think that's a bridge too far to walk. 50 is plenty. I do have an intelligent current limiter on the load side of my meter in the electrical room.The GFCI ready light is blue on my unit. Your mileage may vary.I do wish the unit had a template for mounting. I made one that worked be was not that accurate.

I installed this to charge my new Tesla Model 3. Works as expected and has the added benefit of the good ole GE circuit breakers and 120V GFCI outlet. I like to leave my Tesla adapter plugged in but I don't like to leave it "hot" because we have a lot of lightning in my part of the world. With this panel I can just flip the breaker off and not wear out the 14-50 beast of a plug.

I bought an electric vehicle and needed L2 charging. I replaced an existing L6-20 receptacle for plugging in a portable emergency generator with this. It gives me the NEMA 14-50 I needed for the car plus a 110 outlet for my snow thrower's electric start and I can still use it to plug in an emergency generator. Good price - competitive with local home improvement stores and much cheaper than commercial suppliers. One quarter the price of a Tesla wall charger.

We are setting up a camper hookup here at the house, so we can have a place for guests to stay. This will make the electrical portion of the installation a breeze.

Re-Review. The electrical panel box is excellent but 50 amp circuit breaker was defective. Would not reset. Rob Ferraro the owner called me and I explained the box was installed and wired before I discovered the defective circuit breaker. I would not deinstall to return for a refund or replacement. Went to Home Depot and bought a replacement circuit breaker. Rob is going to reimburse for the circuit breaker. Seller did the right thing and I appreciate that. Will purchase from him again.

This is a great product. I just had an RV pad installed at my home. They ran a 50 amp cable from the house to the pad through buried conduit. I hooked up the box myself. It was very easy and works perfectly. Now I can clean, service and prep for trips without running the generator or having my Class A parked in the cal-de-sac.
