What is the difference in the packaging?

The actual Nerf packaging from manufacturer will be as shown in picture. The shipping box will be plain cardboard box with item inside box.

Which packaging do I select to get original nerf packaging and not cardboard box?

The original Nerf packaging should be within the cardboard box. The outer box is for the protection of the product.

Can I purchase extra clips and what size darts does it take

I don’t know if you can purchase an extra clip, but this Nerf Blaster takes the Official Nerf Elite foam darts.

Are these normal nerf dart size?

Yes, the Elite seem to work really well. As well do the provided and all Fornite provided series darts. It being motorized is perfect for my 6 year old. Some of the pull back actions are really tough.
