Rossetta Dual Lens Galaxy Star Aurora Projector Night Light for Bedroom

This has been one of my favorite purchases for my son. He has always had a hard time with the dark, and this star projector has helped make bedtime feel much calmer and less stressful for him. The lights are bright, colorful, and create a really relaxing atmosphere in his room. The different colors and galaxy effect help keep his mind calm and relaxed, which makes it easier for him to settle down and fall asleep. We use it almost like a night light, and it has been a great alternative to having a regular light on all night. I also really like that it creates a peaceful environment without being too distracting. It has a calming effect, and honestly, I almost bought one for myself because I enjoy how relaxing it is. It would be great for kids' rooms, bedrooms, or anyone who enjoys having soft ambient lighting. For the price, I think this is a great value. It has worked really well for our needs, and I would definitely purchase another one if we ever need a replacement. This has been a great addition to our bedtime routine.

I gave this projector to my daughter for Christmas and she loved it! She deals with severe anxiety, is on the autism spectrum, and deals with other mental health problems, and the northern lights feature is very calming for her. In fact, it has become a major part of our "grounding" routine when she has a panic attack/autistic meltdown at home. She also uses it at night to help her fall asleep (or when she wakes up during the night to help her relax to fall back asleep). We haven't used the bluetooth feature yet because she doesn't have any devices that do bluetooth (but I think it would be great to use for her music if we do get a device she can use it with), but we love the light feature and the sounds it has programmed in. You can use basic functions using the buttons on the device itself, but with the remote that comes with it, you can adjust more things to your preference. With the lights, you can adjust the intensity (which is super helpful for us because she can turn it dim at night and brighter when she needs it for calming during the day). You can also adjust what colors-any combination of the red, green, white, and blue lights. The "stars" are just a pattern of green dots (which we don't particularly like, but some people might. We'd like them better if they were white and a random pattern so they looked more like stars), but you can turn the "stars" on or off independent of the other lights or sounds, etc. (basically, with the remote, you can do any combination of northern lights-including color combinations and intensity, "stars", and sounds). With the sounds, there's a basic lullaby or a choice of various nature-type sounds and you can adjust the volume of those. You can also set a timer of 1 hour or 2 hours so it will turn off on it's own if you want. I feel like the remote is pretty easy to use and fairly intuitive. I'm not much of a technology person at all, but even with all of the options, I can use the remote just fine to do what I want it to do. We did have a problem, after about 5 months or so, that the power cable became finicky and stopped working properly, and then when we started using another USB power cable we had around the house, the projector started turning off and on by itself. At that point, we just emailed the company directly (the customer service email in the manual that came with it) and they immediately sent us a new one without causing stress or headache for us. The new one has worked perfectly fine for us so far, and it was such a relief to not have added stress because of the issue, especially since my daughter had become so dependent on this light for part of her sleep routine and calming routine when she needed it. I would highly recommend the projector, as well as the company that made it. In fact, I might buy more for my other kids as well (or just for fun for our family).

I really love this galaxy projector—it instantly transforms the room into a calm and colorful space. The light effects are vibrant and look amazing on both the walls and ceiling, making it perfect for relaxing or setting a cozy mood. What makes it even better are the different settings. You can adjust the brightness depending on the vibe lower for relaxing or sleeping, and higher for a more lively atmosphere. The timer is also very useful, especially at night, so it turns off automatically. I also like being able to change the appearance and colors to match the mood. Overall, it’s very easy to use, versatile, and creates a beautiful ambiance. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade their space or create a relaxing environment.

This is the one I’ve been searching for! I bought a couple other galaxy projectors in addition to this one, but this one is the best. One was a LiteHaus brand astronaut from Home Depot, another was a smaller Hy-Impact brand projector, also bought at Home Depot. The LiteHaus astronaut has a class 3a laser for the stars and a very small moving nebula projection. I liked how quiet it was, but the radius of the nebula was far too small to keep this one, and the class 3a laser is simply not an option with small kids in the house. The Hy-Impact projector has a class 2 laser and while the moving galaxy radius was much better than the astronaut, the motor was much too loud. Again, while still a low power laser, I was not very comfortable with it around kids. This one from Amazon says it’s a class 1 laser, fading off and on to reduce (not necessarily eliminate, mind you) the risk of eye damage, and the radius of the aurora is fabulous. I have it in a room that’s about 20 by 14 feet and it fills the ceiling well, fading to the ends of the room. The lasers turn on automatically when it gets plugged in, so be sure to aim it away from faces when you first plug it in so you can turn off the laser stars. I wish there were an easy way to completely disconnect the laser stars so they can’t be turned on, because some small children excel at testing whether parents are telling the truth when they tell them something can blind them… The aurora is beautiful and mesmerizing, and the whole family loves it! You can mix and match up to 3 light colors: red, green, blue, and white; choose the speed of the aurora; turn the stars off and on; and choose the brightness. This is exactly what I was looking for, except that it would be nice to have a switch that would totally disable the laser stars (or sell an option without the laser stars!).

I absolutely love this Rossetta Dual Lens Galaxy Projector! It completely transformed my room with beautiful galaxy lights. The 58 lighting effects give so many options, so it never gets boring. The Bluetooth speaker works great, and I enjoy playing music while relaxing. The white noise feature is also a big plus—it helps me fall asleep faster. The remote control makes everything super easy to use, from changing colors to setting the timer. It’s perfect for room decor, creating a cozy vibe, or just unwinding after a long day. I highly recommend it for anyone—kids, teens, and adults. It also makes a great gift! 🎁

What a nice and easy to set up light. Very minimal controls and it does a nice circular nebula with LED Green Dot. Definitely worth the money!

Honestly the lights are cool but the connection to the remote is terrible. Maybe mine is bad but I have to press the same button over and over again. Also, when the light rotates it makes a squeaky sound so that keeps me awake.

Beautiful my granddaughter loved it so much that she’s mesmerized by the lights and it put her to sleep

Have been using this little star projector for over 7 months now and my wife and I love it. we use it in the bedroom before sleeping while we read and it is very soothing. You can change the colours and tempo or set it up to pulse with music or sounds, which we don't really use but its there if wanted. The build quality is very good and we have not had any problems after nightly use. The stars are in a fixed pattern which could be better but the colours dance and swirl nicely creating a wonderful effect. The remote is a must have and works very well. Highly recommended.

Love this projector. The lights can be adjusted for both speed and brightness. Sometimes it is relaxing just to relax and watch the show :-)

The stars stay green and stationary but can be on or off but I sort of wish those could be changed or some with movement, OR that there was the option to have swirls of color in other patterns but otherwise the colors of the "aurora" lights are absolutely beautiful. I tried the bluetooth to our tv to see if I could use as an additional speaker but it lags a bit so not good for that with use of the tv speakers at the same time or its like an annoying echo , but for regular music and such... its perfect! I like that there are brightness and speed settings too. The colors feel as it they are really blending on the ceiling....it's stunning :) I chose this one for the white noise options included and its perfect for my needs.

I love this thing so u should buy this thing too... nuff said. No in all seriousness it's great the way the aurora looks realistic and the little stars I could stare at my ceiling for hrs. It's memorizing and hypnotic. I love having my music running thru it at he same time just makes for nice ambience. The prerecorded sounds... someone was a genius for including the sound of a campfire. All I need to relax . Months later..... I'm just gonna add... ireally love this stupid lite. The timers are brilliant I turn it on use the preset campfire track put the timer for an hour and go to bed watching the northern lights and stars with the sound of a crackling fire.... so relaxing I fall asleep... timer shuts it all off Edit: almost 2 yrs later.... I still run this light for an hr every night. Still works perfectly. Best waste of money.
