Great value, retains the heats for many hours. Good on these cold winter nights . We've had enough of them!!

Almost perfect - just missing a hole to allow this to be hung on a hook when not in use.

So pleased I bought this hot water bottle, it arrived quickly. It's actually made of natural rubber and has lovely thick construction. The British Standard mark is imprinted on the item, along with instructions on lip of the bottle on how to fill and care for the product. What I really like the quality ribbing on one side, so the heat is gentle on the skin, with the smooth side for more intense heat. The stopper is well-designed and fits very well without having to over tighten. There is no way it's going to leak. I got the 2kg size, in, lovely festive colour. Retains heat well, and I know this item is going to last a long time. Very pleased.

Arrived promptly but no stopper. As Amazon suggested, I phoned General Healthcare, spoke with Anthony who apologised profusely and arranged for a stopper to be sent. Arrived promptly. But the stopper didn't fit. Because the stoppers are standard, this meant it must be the bottle that was faulty. It was annoying that I had to spend more time over this. Rang again and spoke again to Anthony who arranged for a bottle complete with stopper to be sent pronto. All is now well and the bottle is lovely. These things happen.Anthony has great diplomatic skills and a wonderfully soothing matter - he should be promoted!Would strongly recommend natural rubber over plastic and verified British standard.

Needed a hot water bottle as the old one gave up after decades of use!I soon learned that hot water bottles have an expiry date! Shock!I guess, like tyres, rubber eventually ages and becomes brittle.I saw this advertised and thought for the price I'd give it a go. The cap looks a bit fragile so I tighten it but I don't tighten it as much as I did the old one ( I could of tightened the old one with mole grips if I'd wanted to). The cap is no where near as strong, it's injection moulded plastic. Not does it have a rubber seal on the cap, the seal appears to be the rubber bottle itself.I'm sure this will be fine and I have used it for a bad back, it doesn't appear to be leaking.

No leaks has a good screw stopper, better than the plastic versions

Works well no leaking but I don't like the new cap design you see I'm old school and never needs 1 of these for a few year now and boy theve changed
