Excellent for heal and low ankle icing.
This ice pack works great! It fits around the lower ankle, heel, and arch of the foot really well. It holds the cold temp for a long time. It is VERY cold so be sure to wear a sock so you don't freeze your skin. I used this for a broken ankle. Worked great. My dad used it for gout pain and said it helped him with the pain and swelling. It is easy to put on and the material molds well to the foot.

Serious quality, serious cold, exactly the coverage I needed
I started noticing early signs of plantar fasciitis, and having dealt with injuries before, I know how important it is to address something like this right away before it turns into a much longer recovery. After comparing several different ice packs, I went with this one, and I'm really happy with the purchase. The material feels high quality, and the cold retention is impressive. Even after being on my foot for over 20 minutes, it's still frigid to the touch. Coverage is excellent too, it wraps completely around my heel and ankle and reaches the base of the Achilles tendon, extending up to about the middle of my foot, which is exactly where I needed relief. It fits securely so you don't have to worry about it slipping off or loosening up over time. The straps are sturdy and the velcro is strong. The actual material is not uncomfortable either, even when it is strapped oh really right. It is easy to mold around your ankle, the material is sturdy but flexible. No leaking either, it would take a lot of effort to penetrate the material. One important note: pay attention to the 20 minute limit and wear socks when you first take it out of the freezer. This thing gets colder than any ice pack I've used before, and I can see how it could cause skin damage if used directly on bare skin or left on too long. It's a serious product, not a flimsy one. The storage bag is a nice touch too, keeps it separate from food in the freezer. Between resting my foot and using this consistently, I avoided a full blown case of plantar fasciitis. Now I use it as a preventative measure after long jogs or extended walks. If you need a quality ice pack with solid, secure coverage, this one fits the bill. High quality and good value. You won't be disappointed.

Highly recomend
as someone who has heel pain, this thing is amazing at the end of the day. I put mine in the freezer and it stays cold for a good while. it fits my foot perfectly and the straps are nice and elastic. I am able to walk around with it on, though it feel odd but the material is durable. its extremely easy to use. its not too stiff from the freezer. would highly recommend getting one if you have heel pain daily like i do.

Best for plantar fascitis and heel issues but milage may vary with sprains
I'm a bigger guy around 6'2" and wear a size 13 shoe. I got this as I rolled my ankle and tore some things in a fall several weeks ago and I needed something to help ice my ankle. ace wraps and bags of ice were cumbersome and I wanted something that was easier to put on and take off but that I could keep in my freezer without taking up a lot of space. This works pretty well for my needs however its not perfect. Being a bigger guy this barely covers my ankle and if it wasn't for that extra little flap of cold pack where the velcro attaches to the ice pack itself this would've been almost worthless for me given what I tore in rolling my ankle. the person in the picture (witht he bare foot in the icepack) is probably not bigger than a men's size 7; so if you're smaller than that it'll probably encase your foot but above that and it starts to be a little too small to fully wrap and close over itself. if you're above a 12, I'd say find a different product. The upside is the chambers are all interconnected for the most part so you can squish the gel around inside it to make sure you have enough cold in the areas you want/need it most while limiting it in the areas you don't, just move the gel before you freeze the pack (more on that later). The exception to this is the bottom piece is sewn to the upper part of the icepack and its closed off entirely. I've found even when the rest of the pack is starting to get warm, the bottom part has enough gel in it that its still cold. this is great if you have plantar pain or heel issues like tendonitis or bone spurs, but its a bit less ideal for sprains and strains. it is however enough that you don't want to try and walk with the cold pack on, if you put full pressure on it, I could easily see it popping and making a mess. I get why its sewn the way it is, but I'd almost rather see them redesign it in such a way that the seam was somewhere else or only on one side and wrapped in such a way that if you were to put weight on it the gel could squish around your foot to better protect the gelpack but also to give you more room to push the gel where you want it to be. The wrap is long enough and spandexy enough that I am able to wrap down around my foot AND around my ankle to hold the whole thing close to my skin and get the relief I'm looking for, however, the gel right out of the freezer is very stiff and will get more liquid as it warms up which sometimes means readjusting the cold pack after a few minutes to make sure its still making contact with your foot where you want it to. It is cold enough at the beginning that you will want a thin sock or something to keep it off your skin but after 5-10 minutes (about the time it needs to be repositioned) I've been stripping off the sock to get the maximum use out of this. The cold lasts about 20-30 minutes in my experience but thats more than enough for what you're supposed to be doing with RICE (you're only supposed to ice for 15-20 at a time in most cases). Bottom line, I'm happy with this product but wish it had some redesign and/or came in different sizes. I wish bottom wasn't sewn entirely shut but I do love the formfactor. It is able to completely live in my freezer without taking up a lot of room, and it certainly gets the job done.

Heel Ice Pack Wrap for the win!
It works great, and I really wish I had it when I sprained my ankle in the beginning. It fits around the whole foot well and can be used for many different injuries. It also is not super cold on your foot and it comes with a bag to keep it separated from other frozen foods when putting it in the freezer.

I would buy this again
This works for adults and youth. My 10 year-old son used it for a very long time for his severโs disease. Itโs comfortable and easy to put on. It freezes quickly and is pretty flexible when frozen

Effective and easy to use
I bought this to help treat my plantar fasciitis. It has been a game changer and is much easier and more comfortable than the frozen water bottle. It stays cold for a long time and doesn't have complicated straps. Wraps the entire ankle and heel.

Great form fitting ankle ice pack.
This ankle wrap is great. Using it to ice broken ankle while rehabbing and after each game. Fits better than other single ice packs. Cools the entire ankle and back foot area. Super soft and comfortable too. Really glad we found this one.
