Good choice for backyard composting
Ideal for the backyard gardener. I don't live on a lot of land — just a residential lot — and I have about eight raised beds and some containers for vegetable gardening in my back yard. Since we have oak trees that drop leaves every year and garden waste at the end of the season, and since I decided I'd try to do something with kitchen scraps other than putting them down the disposal, I bought one of these. It's easy to snap together, sturdy and unobtrusive, and sits in a corner of the yard. 80 gallons is a LOT of kitchen scraps and yard/garden waste, and it's surprising how quickly it can break down into rich compost. I'm not a "green" guy, an organic fanatic, or an environmentalist, but this is a simple way to make something useful of renewable resources that would otherwise end up in a landfill.

A good composter for a good price
Serves it's purpose, easy to set up and holds a good amount of compost. The plastic is a bit flimsy, mine is in a protected corner so it's protected from wind etc, no problems so far. The lid doesn't always seat securely so I put a brick on top. I much prefer this type of composter with the open bottom vs. the rotating type. Since it's in contact with the ground the decomposition happens much quicker.

Assembly takes less than two minutes.
I bought two: one for dry and one for wet. I layered three parts brown to one part green, so there was no need to rotate the compost. My first batch of leaves and grass clippings only took three weeks to turn into compost. There is no bottom, so if putting on concrete, you may need to use a pan to catch the black tea. I used a dog crate pan.

Good value and nice little composter!
This composter box was quite a bit less expensive than most of the other choices but it assembled pretty easily and serves the purpose. It was a good value!

Okay but nothing to dance around about
The top is hard to open when it’s closed and there is no bottom to it. The top sticks and needs force to open, so I don’t close it tight. With no bottom I can’t move it around like I wanted. Otherwise very easy to assemble and a great size.

The best for the money.
Went together fast and is working as described.

Better than a pile on the floor.
It's OK for the price, the material is fairly weak its similar to black gardening pots. I saw some reviews of it disassembling after it's fully loaded so I drilled a few holes on the corners and secured them with zip ties. I Also zip tied a 2ft X 2ft piece of 1/4 inch hardware cloth on the bottom to help keep critters out.looks nicer than one built from free pallets and cheaper and less time consuming than making one from wood. It is Loaded now with end of gardening season waste. I will see how the compost looks in a few months.

Works great
Easy to put together and has held up well. The little slide doors could use some tweaking as any movement they are quick to come off. If you have a designated spot, they should be fine as you load up the bin.
