Didn't fix my EVAP code but is a good place to start!
I was getting a P0443 code on my 2006 Silverado, so I did what others said online and replaced the gas cap first. It's an easy first step and can fix some EVAP codes, but not in my case. Still, I can't take off any stars because it's a great OEM-quality replacement and was a good value; it just didn't fix my problem. I definitely recommend this as a first step to fixing EVAP issues!

Easy to attach and satisfying to hear that click after a fill up.
Someone tried to break the old gas cap by destroying the key lock, so went back with the original cap and connected the strap to the vehicle. Worth the price, nice and clean!

It does not fit, wont fit in tank opening
It does not fit my pickup, I have it with the original with the plastic bag it came in. It said it was the original replacement gas cap but it will not fit my pickup. I just figured there was no use trying to get it sent back, I am using the old cap. Plus the bag was opened when I tried the new one. It is still laying in the pickup.Thanks for asking
