VTech VM923-2 Baby Monitor, 2.8”Screen, 1000ft Range, Pan-Tilt-Zoom, Night Vision, 2-Way Audio, Temperature Sensor, Lullabies, Secured Transmission No WiFi

We ordered and returned SO MANY monitors before getting this one. I really love this monitor, it's so nice and small that it fits perfectly in my pocket (most other ones are just so massive). We've had no problem seeing everything we need to on such a "small" screen. The range is incredible, we've gotten it to reach way further than the marketed range. We would have preferred a split screen, but they just don't make them with the volume customization that we were looking for... let me explain. Here is how the volume control on this two camera model (vtech VM923-2) works. If only camera one is selected, volume can be turned off or on for that camera. If only camera two is selected, volume can be turned off or on for that camera. If the rotating mode where it displays camera one for ten seconds, then camera two for ten seconds, is turned on you cannot control the volume of each camera individually. Either volume from both is turned on or volume from both is turned off. You cannot have it on rotating camera mode and have camera one on volume level five and camera two on volume level one. They have to be at the same volume level on rotating mode. You also cannot have it on the rotating mode and have volume from camera one on and volume from camera two off. Either both cameras volume is on or both off (on rotating mode). If during the night you have it on rotating camera mode, let's say your child in the room with camera one starts crying. There could be up to a ten second delay in you hearing it through the monitor since it is switching between the two. Again hopefully that makes sense. We have had no issue with this functionality at all, we really love how it works. One other small note, as you're selecting options on the menu, the monitor makes a "confirmation noise". It cannot be turned down or turned off. So if you go to change something during the night be prepared to hear that each time. Apparently I'm very passionate about this, considering I just wrote a novel, but I just read so many reviews for so many monitors while we were shopping for one and no one would explain how volume on a two camera monitor works. So hopefully I've helped someone out there who was like me!

Used these in my kids rooms. Worked great could check on them during the night. Good quality. Easy to set up just basically plug in and ready to go. No Wi-Fi needed. Good quality for money.

This baby monitor is really nice. I like how it has the two cameras so I can switch between seeing both my babies and it cycles through which camera it’s showing and I can hear both of them. It’s super user friendly, I’ve never had a problem with connection either. The cameras move remotely which is a huge plus for viewing angles and the monitor itself is pretty durable! All in all a great baby monitor!

This is a great monitor with two cameras for the price. Best I could find. I didn’t want anything fancy, but this still felt like a step up from our previous monitor because the camera pans. It does what we need it to, I like that I can move the camera. The controls, sounds and menu are a little annoying to me but it wasn’t worth returning and starting my search over again. I wish there were volume buttons on the side to easily adjust, but there aren’t. You have to select the menu for volume, adjust, and select again so it stays at that volume. Every time you select anything it makes a tone, as if to say “Ok! I got it!” Completely unnecessary, and slightly annoying especially when the house is quiet. Picture quality is pretty good - the closer the camera is the better quality you’ll have. Ours is set up across the room for our toddler - but I can see what I need to and pan the camera if he gets out of bed. We are currently only using one camera so I can’t say how easily it switches between cameras. Overall, great monitor- just took away one star for the volume buttons and selection tone mentioned!

It was an awesome budget friendly baby monitor while we had it. Sadly our puppy destroyed the monitor screen and unable to use it again. The camera is not compatible to a different monitor so the cameras are wasted. Hopefully this company could find a way to sync a new monitor to a different set of cameras.

Absolutely love these!!! We also have the ones that don’t move and I prefer these. I love the ability to the move the camera side to side and up and down. I also love that it’s not super zoomed in. Our other baby monitor we have, the one that doesn’t have toggle ability, zooms in too much and I can barely see all of the crib. Absolutely recommend 👏🏻

The cameras do have to be constantly plugged in order for them to turn on. The battery life on the viewing device lasts so long the picture quality is amazing not only in the day time but at night. I love that there are two cameras so I have one on my daughters crib and the other in her play area and the viewing device has a setting to watch both cameras at the same time. Very convenient for if you have multiple children in different places of your home.

The picture quality is pretty good. The sound is good without lag. I feel very comfortable using it knowing it has no wifi capabilities. The biggest problem i have is it is very zoomed in and has no way of seeing the entire room in the same frame which is extremely unhelpful when you have multiple rambunctious boys sharing a room. It's great for watching over the crib but I'll be using a different camera for my boys room unfortunately.

The VTech VM923-2 Video Baby Monitor has been outstanding! The 19-hour battery life is impressive, and the long-range coverage provides excellent flexibility. The two cameras are perfect for monitoring multiple rooms. The only improvement I’d suggest is a slightly higher resolution for even clearer video, but overall, it’s a fantastic product that delivers on its promises. Highly recommended!

Waste of money and it is a wired camera be careful

Right. bought this in the UK. It is a good product but it came with US plugs attached! Oh, dear! US plugs are nowhere near as safe as UK ones!!

La batterie dure longtemps et on n’a pas besoin de s’en préoccuper. Deux caméras: idéal pour surveiller plus d’un endroit.

The monitor had problem in the softwar, whatever i choose for the duration of the screen , it turns off and voice off after 1 min 32sec
