Leather feels soft but not weak and is very comfortable. I’m 190 lbs and wear xl shirts and the xl coat fit me perfect. Loose enough I can slide on and off but not baggy. I have a ton of yeswelder products and this is another win for them

This jacket is not pretty but it is exactly what it should be - functional, protective and durable. I bought this for my grandson's welding class. He has several fire-resistant shirts and jackets but when it came to welding overhead, they were not enough. This heavy-duty jacket did the trick. No worries about burning any inner clothes. It is big enough to protect all what you need covered for this task and reasonably flexible. He highly recommends. He is 5'8" weighs 150 lb. I ordered a Medium and it fit perfect.

Son needed it for his welding school. Worked great for the year's class and still going.

Decent quality, great seal/coverage against weld spatter or grinding burns. Collar seems made to tuck well under my (reversed of course) welding cap bill, neck comes well up under my welding helmet and cuffs fit nicely into my welding glove /gauntlets. Not too heavy for the protection it provides and buy a bit on the large size & no trouble with ease of movement.

Ordered for my son, a welding student, and it is exactly as requested. Fits perfectly and is a nice, durable, heavy leather. Fairly priced, definitely worth the cost. Be prepared, the leather does have a pungent “new” smell.

It’s heavy and it will absolutely block sparks and protect you. As other have mentioned, it had a strong smell from leather treatment, but it doesn’t its job and for the price, you won’t be disappointed.

For a yes welder product im really impressed as yes welder is a terrible company with terrible customer service but hey they make a nice jacket. Can't beat it for the price. Btw the 2xl is way bigger than a normal 2xl jacket. Thing is like a dress on me. Spent the day welding under a car today and did great and keeping me from getting burned. This thing is absolutely NOT light weight its heavy and thick. No zippers just velcro and buttons
