Probably late answering but..regarding the smallrig plate its trash super hard to mount on the plate because of the placement of the holes etc. I got this vmount battery but I had to buy camvate cheeseplate to mount. My bmpcc4k rig mostly smallrig besides the cheeseplate. The battery is legendary tho..took it out the box first time and didnt charge it till a week or so after with a portkeys bm5 monitor granted I didnt run the rig for hrs and hrs but the battery is impressive

Can you use the battery to power a device while the battery is plugged in and charging without it hurting the battery? (Like a power supply?)

This V mount battery max output is 14.8V 10.4A 190Wh.According to our market research, most of the V mount battery output is this.If you use the battery above max output, the battery's over discharge protection will shut it down. If you aputure 300d led light can use two batteries at the same time and each battery needs an output current is 6a,then this battery will work.

I use it on the small rig v-mount plate and the tilter v-mount power solution for the Bmpcc 4k. Works well no problems. However, I expect that any V-mount option should work, that is why it is a V-mount plate.
