Is this formula really zinc-free and copper-free?

Yes. VisiVite AREDS2 White Formula has no zinc, no copper and no beta-carotene. It gives you lutein, zeaxanthin, vitamin C and vitamin E, so you get AREDS 2 based eye nutrition without those minerals.

Who is a zinc-free eye vitamin for?

It is made for adults whose stomachs don't tolerate standard AREDS formulas, and for those whose eye doctor suggests limiting zinc. Many customers who couldn't find a zinc-free option in stores choose it for this reason.

What exactly is in the formula, and does it contain calcium?

Each 2-capsule serving has lutein (10 mg) and zeaxanthin (2 mg) from marigold, vitamin C (500 mg), natural vitamin E (264 mg) and calcium (100 mg). No zinc, copper or beta-carotene. We list every ingredient openly.

How do I take it, and are the capsules easy to swallow?

Take two capsules daily, all at once, or one capsule twice daily with meals. The vegetarian capsules are small and easy to swallow. Since the lutein comes from natural marigold, capsule color may vary slightly.

Is it vegetarian and allergen-friendly?

Yes. Plant-based vegetarian Vcaps, free from eggs, fish, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, soy and gluten, non-GMO, with no artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners or preservatives. Made in the USA in a certified cGMP facility.
