Wonderful stand - especially for the price! Is strong enough to display a medium sized painted rock without any problems at all, no leaning very sturdy!There are several other reviews for this product claiming that it is not clear but in fact an milky opaque - the stand comes with a clear protective film on it which must be removed to reveal the crystal clear underside.I’ve also seen a few other reviews claiming that the film was impossibly difficult to remove, which was not my experience at all - moving slowly with a little patience I was able to remove it easily on the first try. Once you’ve lifted a corner or side enough to grab onto, the entire film comes off in one piece (I bought several of them and each one came off the same way, in one piece without tearing or anything like that)All told - I think this is a great product at a great value and would recommend it to anyone :)

Great easels for 5x7 and 6x8-type heavier plaques. I, personally, was unable to remove the protective coating plastic, but it doesn't take from the look or functionality or the easel.

Perfect size, nicely made and packaged. One problem - trying to get the protective film off without damaging the item is a challenge. Manufacturer should provide a tab on each side of the item so that you can easily start the removal of the protective film. I had to use a sharp knife, VERY CAREFULLY along an edge in an area that wouldn't be visible if I accidentally scratched the surface. The protective film is on both sides so you have to do this twice per item. Once the film was removed from each side, I absolutely loved the product.

I made a fused glass ocean scene and didn't want the typical wire hangers or plate rack. This was great because it is transparent and very sturdy.

I recieved only 4 pieces, not 5. They are opaque and look dirty. There are instructions to 'peel off' a 'protective tape' on them, but I swear that there's nothing to peel. I wasted way too much time trying to 'gently' peel off the possibly nonexistent tape only to find I was ripped off by receiving 4 when the product page says set of 5. I should have looked at the reviews first. Returning this because I feel ripped off.
