I can't say enough about this STEM kit. My son (7 years old) could do these experiments all day long and never get bored. The "field guide" (a.k.a. instructions) are age appropriate and kid-friendly. Since getting the kit ourselves, we have gotten it as gifts for others. HAPPY reviews all around!

My 8 year old loves science and doing STEM activities and my 3 year old adores water. This was a great activity for the both of them to do together.

There are so many different experiments to try, most taking less than ten minutes. I paired this kit with tons of books from the library and as we are out in the world we notice an discuss. I look for ways to ask my child more quesitons and we spend a moment before each experiment asking what might happen and why/how. She is 5 but we have been doing kits like this since she was 3. True, you can gather these items for less- maybe. You'll need to spend gas driving around and you only need what is provided- not a 6 pack as they are often sold in. Here you just get to sit down and have fun learning together. The directions are clear though I would like to see more prompts for questions to ask, names of theories/laws, etc. and the writing is a bit dry where it could be written a bit more...interesting. All in all we are enjoying and next month plan to buy a different kit by this company.

I bought this for our grandson. He's 12 now and loved it. It was easy and fun to explore.

I bought this to gift it to someone and packaging was so small and doesn't look worth the price. So as a gift may be you would like to consider something else if you also consider the size of gift. Otherwise it contains nice science experiments and will be entertaining and great learning for kids.

My son loves this water science kit. I think it's ok for ages lower than the listed recommended age. I'm giving it four stars because I think it could be a little bigger for the price. but honestly, this is a high-quality product and it's a blast for a kid who loves the sensory experience of water. there are several fun water projects to do, and some of the supplies are reuable for several of them. I'll definitely buy this again if my son wants it.
