Better than the hospital splint!!! Actually healing with this product
I'm Amazed by this product as the hospital gave me a splint which was very uncomfortable and so I found this product which you can adjust it actually gives a certain amount of Mobility back it allows for healing and like others say you can remove it if it comes uncomfortable. This is comfortable enough that I sleep with it On Loosely at night and it helps so much to the point where I can actually grab the clutch on my motorcycle but due to the radial nerve palsy I can't use the blinkers but that's a huge Improvement from not even being able to hold on to anything at all and being completely limp Just like others stated there was a small issue with the top brace but the seller is great and what you let them know they will send out a replacement free of charge otherwise I highly recommend this brace to anybody with radial nerve palsy it has been a huge help to my recovery I'm still recovering but I could see a large difference in this product that's $100 verse the hospital splint that they want $1,633.50 for... yes that is not a joke sadly. Five stars because of the product the quality and the customer service

Helps in your daily activities
After i have broken my humerus, i suffered from radial nerve palsy. With this splint i was able to do my work more normally and it helps really in my everyday activities. As i live in the Netherlands it was a bit expensive to import, but worth it as it helped me. If you have a wrist drop and less use of your fingers, you can buy this and make your life a little less frustrating. One minor thing: after wearing it for some time there is a bit of irritation from the elastic band around your fingers.

Hurts!
I purchased this splint when I came down with drop wrist. It arrived with a page of instructions, explained by pictures. If you follow the steps you will be able to get the splint on. In the beginning, it was difficult to do it alone. I had to take it slow and easy until I got the hang of it. The finger loops dig into your fingers, and after awhile, your fingers get so sore that you have to take the brace off. I bought some cotton balls, and broke them up placing them in the finger loops to cushion the strings and it made it more comfortable. I couldn't wear the brace at night because the velcro strap that holds the strings together always comes off, and the back of the brace presses into the back of my hand causing discomfort. I wore the brace for eight hours a day, doing drop wrist exercises learned on you tube (I couldn't get any appointments to see a doctor) and within two months I got full movement of my fingers back. What was encouraging was that after a few weeks, and wearing the brace, I was able to slowly type on a computer keyboard. I believe the brace helped, but due to the terrible discomfort caused by this brace to my fingers and to the top of my hand, I am giving this only one star.

Key Modification Makes Brace Work Great
I would give this a 5 after I modified it. I am dealing with radial nerve palsy that left my fingers and hand limp. The brace as delivered puts my wrist in a good position, lifts my finger at the base, but leaves the upper half of my fingers curled up. I wanted the brace to straighten my fingers out so that I had a more normal grasping capability. After some experimentation, I found some little silicone bands that I use to keep the elastic loops up above my upper knuckle, as shown in the photos. I would encourage BraceAbility to consider a simple modification like this. It does not prevent the bands from being used at the base of the finger for those who prefer that.

Very uncomfortable, but hopefully it works
I read the other reviews and I'm glad that I did and I have to agree with them. This thing is very uncomfortable, but for different reasons with me specifically.. the bands that you put around your fingers have a little foam sheathing around them to make it more comfortable on your fingers, but they're still cutting off the circulation at the knuckles where my fingers meet my palm and it's making me lose circulation and my fingers feel like they're falling asleep... this didn't happen the first time I put it on until after maybe an hour but now it happens within 10 minutes or less. The whole thing about the metal plate being jammed into my wrist isn't as uncomfortable as other people made it sound like it might be, but it definitely isn't comfortable. I've only been using it for a few hours yesterday and today after I received it May 19th 2026, so I don't have enough time and experience with it to say if this is going to help my radial nerve palsy overtime and I actually had a motorcycle accident so it's pretty bad, I don't know how other people get radial nerve palsy, but my nerves were heavily damaged and when I saw this solution, I could buy right now versus the crazy hospital versions with metal rods and strings and what not that I would have to take two days out of work to go to a specialist for, to do both a fitting and then have to go back just to be handed the thing, this seems like a much better solution, even if I'm paying out of pocket (the jury is still out on whether my insurance will cover this). I'll have to come back and edit this very lengthy but hopefully helpful review in another week or two and maybe in a month or two to see if I have any more control of my hand.

Made Specifically for Wrist Drop!
This brace does exactly what it says. It helps to pull your fingers back that have lost strength so that you can use them and strengthen them until your radial nerve deals itself. This has been going on for 3 months for myself but my hand is getting stronger in the mobility is getting better each and every day and I don't even use his brace every day but definitely use it when I am going to be doing lots of stuff I'm not allowed to lift anything over 5 lbs with this hand. It is pricey but like I said it is specifically made for wrist drop and it does what it says and is built very well it's comfortable to wear but be aware to wear something you stretch over or just put it over your clothing. Again don't let the price fool you You pay what you get for and this is definitely a piece of equipment that will help you with your wrist drop!

Not worth the money
I have drop wrist palsy and purchased this to provide support during my recovery. While it has some good features, there are also areas where it falls short. The design of the wrist splint is bulky and uncomfortable. The materials used feel cheap and irritate the skin, especially during extended wear. Despite multiple adjustments, I couldnโt get the splint to fit snugly without either being too tight, cutting off circulation, or too loose, failing to provide adequate support. I still have no idea what the finger attachments are supposed to do. Theyโre not strong enough to do anything other than be irritating; they offer no support.. The constant readjustment is frustrating and counterproductive. Rather than improving my condition, wearing this wrist splint seemed to aggravate my pain. The inadequate support and poor fit caused additional strain on my wrist, and I noticed more swelling and discomfort after using it. Given the poor quality and lack of effectiveness, this wrist splint is extremely overpriced. There are better options available at similar or even lower price points that offer superior support.
