This is smaller than I expected, which is good. There’s no noise like others described, I wonder if it’s a material or installation issue others are having. Installation was easy. We’re using it on the front door, so it’s heavier, it either closes it completely or at least brings the door back partially to the latch, which prevents pets from escaping. We have a sensor on the door so we’d get an alert if it isn’t latched after a minute. So having this installed to prevent the door from being wide open is perfect for us. It gives us enough time to get someone else to close the door fully if needed. Also it’s a good price at 15.99

The media could not be loaded. I have had this unit installed for a week now and it is working great so far. The only reason for the four stars is the quality of the supplied installation screws. Even after drilling starter holes, the screw heads stripped out. And I tried to be careful with them... But they are holding for now. After going through at least four sets of spring loaded hinges, I decided to try a new route with "real hinges", this unit being the second attempt of a closer for the door. This unit was installed on our "storm door" that I made several years ago, and our German Shepherds let themselves in and out for the most part through this door. Sometimes the going out part can be a bit rough, so the door and associated hardware take a lot of abuse. (squirrel sightings) The unit provides just the right amount tension to keep the door closed, but not so much that the dogs cant open it to get back in. I am very pleased so far, and would probably be ecstatic if I knew that quality screws held everything in place. German Shepherd approved!

Easy to install & works awesome.

Horrible. Don’t ever buy this product!!! Worked for a day or two and then quit working. I’m a maintenance technician and this is the worst door closer I’ve ever bought. I even kept trying to tighten the spring up and still won’t work.

Does not work for doors that swing both ways. Tension rod is not secure in the slider. Not needed, returned.

I have had this door closer for about 2 to 3 weeks now. I wanted to give time for an honest opinion. I had a string closer previously they worked but got broke when the door was open to wide so I knew I needed something more sturdy. This was easy and quick to install. I have dogs that know how to open the door on their own, but don't know how to close the door so this was a must. It does have a noise but unless u are sensitive to it, it doesn't bother you. It's easy to install and works great
