TensCareFlexistim Multi Mode Electrotherapy Unit + 12 Replacement Pads (Eligible for VAT relief in the UK)

Just received my device and examining it. Manual says easy to use but just spent the best part of an hour trying to slide the belt clip down to access the battery cover. The amount of force I just had to use, using my arthritis fingers, this clip will not last before breaking! I haven’t even used the device yet! I can’t go through this each time I’m trying to insert/remove the battery…. Yet to test the functioning of the device, (given1 star although I suspect it will work great once I do start using it but won’t let me post review without comment on how it works) as I’m still charging the battery.

I have spent 2 days trying to get into the battery compartment and still haven’t managed it.

I do like the IFT over TENS - much more pleasant and no less effective for me. The unit itself may look like the TensSport2, but it is actually about 50% thicker to contain the IFT circuits. IFT devices do get much warmer than TENS devices, this one is no exception.I dropped one star for the simple reason I believe it should have included massage settings. You can set it manually for massage, but it should really have been included. If it was, it would be five stars and the most complete machine I have used. (FYI: I was going to send back the TenSport2, but once I found the Flexistim did not include massage, I kept it.)The micro-current instructions very difficult to understand, but that is because it's a complicated subject. Expect to spend a lot of time researching on YouTube. After that, the instructions will suddenly make sense.

Bought this primarily to explore IFT. I am happy with the unit so far. Great quality product with detailed instructions. Fiddly charging process - take the clip off, remove the lid, take the battery out, insert it into a charging block - finally charge - repeat in reverse to put it back... Micro USB would have been a giant benefit. Otherwise good.
