Excellent history of NHL Logos
This is an excellent history of National Hockey League logos, written by a fan of North American Sports Logos, who has turned his childhood hobby into a career. Very informative and very well illustrated, with each teams logo history explained in detail. I particularly liked the story of the Toronto Maple Leafs and how they were once the St. Patrick's, with the logos. Some of the older logos are quite a bit more artistic than the newer ones.

PERFECT Christmas gift
We purchased Fabric of the Game as a gift for my notoriously hard to buy for Mother-In-Law. When it arrived, I noticed right away the quality of the book itself. The colours are bright and appealing. It would look nice even just as décor for a hockey-cave. My Mother-In-Law LOVED it. She is a die hard Montreal Canadians fan so she LOVED the section on their team, but she also enjoyed reading about other teams as well as the history of the uniforms. We've gotten her so many hockey-themed items over the years, from blankets to ornaments, etc. but I think this book is definitely at the top of her list.I would recommend Fabric of the Game to any hockey fan regardless of age.
