Duralex Made In France Lys 3-1/2-Inch Stackable Clear Glass Bowl, Set of 6

I use these little bowls all the time for prep work so store them near the sink with the glass measuring cups. I accidentally knocked them down and they shattered in the sink and on the floor. Being tempered they made little nuggets of glass instead of slivers/splinters so it was easy to sweep up. I'm embarrassed to say that I was making pickles at the time and the cucumber slices were in a bowl filled with ice and I had to fish glass out of the cucumbers. Identifying the glass among all the ice cubes was a tricky task but I was able to fish them all out!

I had a set of these from like 10 years ago, maybe longer. I never had one break, but I did lose a few. I've been using them for dipping sauces, so I wanted more. This additional set are identical to the old ones I had, so that feels to me like these are an established product. Super handy for all kinds of little things. Like, if you like having a modest desert, they fit a single scoop of ice cream well. My daughter has been using them for paints, and they clean up well. Useful for holding various ingredients, of course. Just generally really useful little dishes/cup things. Just be sure to check the size so you're not confused - these aren't the size of a soup bowl.

I have been looking so long for dishes that were safe and nontoxic and these are amazing. They are sturdy, sleek, and I just love them!!

Endless uses for these in the kitchen. Love them. But they do shatter when dropped into the sink etc This lesson is on repeat at my house.

Since we can't get the French manufacturer who made all of our dishes we are happy to report that the duralex bowls are the same size as the previous manufacturer. In fact the glass is little bluer and I like that more.

These are perfect for all sorts of things! Condiments, spices, and even for letting jewelry soak prior to cleaning. Nice weight and size, and stacks neatly in the cupboard
