Okay so I'm fussy maybe? Checked out the Marshall speaker, good reviews but personally NO, Sound quality was poor in store (John Lewis) so went Bose Soundlink and didn't check it, as last one I had was good, but nope rubbish, very little depth and bass, but ideal for beach I guess as in a silicone body and small. Saw this JBL model on a cruise ship, so had a read, sounds good, so fathers day, I got as gift.. JBL are back....... I'm 49, ex bass cadet in my 89 Mustang GT pumping some GTO JBL and amps, but think they went budget and not good for many years, so did not even look at JBL to start with, but they hooked up with I think Harman Kardon?? Which are very good but expensive. Anyway whatever, its bigger than most but sits in back pack fine, it sounds great good bass, wide band of frequencies etc, it can also be used to charge mobile, etc. Yep it's a power bank too It's rubber coated and built durable. Only sight hang up? The grill texture would get sand trapped, also the 2 woofers, one at each end are exposed, kids will try and poke, causing damage I'd think. Edit: Just to add the battery life is crazy, used it over three days, maybe 4hr at a time, went to charge but was not even half empty. Go buy it, you WILL love it..

It is one of the best purchases that I have made so far. The base quality is excellent, and I really like the colour and design of it. I can't compare it with any other speakers.

I've owned several Bluetooth speakers over the years but nothing like this. After lots of research I took the plunge and bought this. I'm so pleased that I did. A regular What HiFi winner, it's a hefty little bugger, superb construction, 20 hour battery life and sounds fantastic. Don't waste your time with cheaper Chinese offerings. Get one now, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic! Superb sound (as expected from the reviews) and a magical replacement for my car's B&O system which gives up after 5 minutes when stationary.

Oh my goodness! This is just superb! The quality of sound is just phenomenal and it last for ages, it is a really nice colour and it’s very easy to use and it connects so easily with my phone. It is light and it seems to have lasted a very long time and I imagine longer (touch wood) it is very good for the price it is. I would highly recommend

Great sound, very portable & reasonably priced.......but for the price, should come with a carry case. I've bought a case now.

Ordered in the evening, arrived the next morning. Lovely chunky speaker almost fully charged on arrival. Easy to connect to my iPad. I will be using it at a flower show this weekend so I can’t really judge the sound quality until then but it sounds great in my living room.

10 out 5. Absolutely incredibly clear audio, excellent separation of instruments. And the best - NO noticeable LAG! Not with videos on my laptop or with my 12 year old Samsung TV which requires a Bluetooth adaptor to make it Bluetooth compatible.

I have had a few Bluetooth with some trouble but this is the first one that worked directly, the sound is also really good.
