What kind of air freshener could I buy to put into the center slot?

all the auto parts stores have small round air fresheners that can fit

Why do the photos in the reviews look different from the one in the listing? Can someone confirm if there's an open circle or a flower in the center?

There’s a flower-like vent in the center, but you can remove the cover make it an open circle. You can put a little air freshener in the hole or something if you’d like.
