L'Oreal Paris Preference Hair Dye, Long Lasting, Luminous Permanent Hair Colour, 9.12 Siberia

I bought this to cover root greys and tone down the yellow blonde, I have multiple tones going through my hair blonde and very light brown , I also use a few tape ins either side of my hair for thickness due to have very fine hair. I covered all my head (shoulder length hair) including the tapes left on for 30 mins . All I can say is I really like the end result it’s completely removed the yellow tones from my extensions and my own hair and I am left with a silver blonde ash colour which is much better than brassy yellow I had going on. I will say that it did loosen one of my extensions so I had to retape and refit but no drama there. Really surprised and will use again when my greys start coming through again.

My dye is 9.12 very light ash beige blonde cool tones. It doesnt go the colour on the box ..BUT. I actually love the colour it turns on my hair..my natural colour is a light browny ashy dark blonde anyway.. I put some streaks of blonde in my hair first with the garnier bleach kit as its gentle on hair or a clairol blonde dye first to make it have some bright blonde tones, then when my hair has been conditioned intensely and dried naturally..I put this dye on and it goes a darkish ash blonde which really suits me I always get compliments after useing this but as I said I adapt the colour by blonding my hair first..you get a purple conditioner to use after but I mix half and half with a normal conditioner bcoz I don't want alot of that purple look but you do still get a hum of purple look in it but it isn't there by the next wash and still looks good for a few weeks after..I don't use purple conditioner for weeks after like they recommend, bcoz the colour becomes more purplely and bland and loses that natural look..this is a great hair dye.i love it but you have to find your own way of useing it to suit your natural colour as the colour on the box is not how it turns out..

So easy to use. Goes on dry hair. If you don't want your hair too dark only leave it on for 10-15 mins . Had lots of compliments. If your hair is short like mine then you need to have a spare bottle and empty half of the full bottle into the spare. Just use half of the tube colour then it will do you twice. Cheaper than the shops.

Do not use on light blonde hair unless you want a very dark smokey grey. Not like the colour on the box.

This colour leaves my hair in lovely condition, the colour is a bit darker than I would like or expected but after a couple of washes it's nice 😊 I wouldn't say it's ash blonde on my hair,
