Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr. won the world heavyweight championship at the age of 22, the same year he joined the Nation of Islam and changed his name to Muhammad Ali. He would go on to become the first and only three-time (in succession) World Heavyweight Champion. Loved the book!
My son had to do a history project on a famous American and after giving several options he chose Muhammad Ali. He loves this book and he loved reading all about him. I was so proud that he loved it. It was an easy ready for a 10 year old and was informative, but also explained things in a way that made sense to him. We will be purchasing more of these books for him to read over summer break.

Great series
This whole series of books is just wonderful. Pick a topic that your child is or might be inteterested in and these books draw them right in. My son has been reading them since second grade (end of third now) and he still anxiously awaits them as I buy new. They are by far his favorite series and in my opinion so much better than the other silly/gross/obnoxious series out there.

My children read the book and learned a great deal. It’s like History written for children between the ages of 7 and 12. We order a few of these books when schools were closed - during the Corona pandemic as a way to continue their education.
