Good with Peves
While the bento box is a excellent product and very easy to use I do have a few pet peeves, one it that the lid canโt be washed in the dishwasher which would make cleaning easier, and the box is barely two months old and the paint is peeling off. Other than that good product and recommend for lunch prep.

Impossible to open
This box was impossible to open for most of the humans at my house. None of my teenagers or kids could open it. I couldn't open it. My husband had to use all his strength and slam it against a wedge in order to get the lid to give so he could open it. This is unusable for lunches or snacks because the seal is too strong.

Great lunch box for work or if you're on a road trip!
I've used this container multiple times now, very successfully. Nothing leaks at all, and I love the metal and silicone. I'm looking at other products from this line to see if anything else appeals to me.

Stylish Lunch Box, Best for Single Dishes
Verdict: Stylish, non-plastic, and microwave/oven-safeโgreat ideas on paperโbut in daily use the single removable divider felt limiting, and the rose-gold finish started to come off in washing. We ultimately prefer Bentgoโs multi-container setups for flexibility. What we liked Not plastic: The MicroSteel build is a win for anyone trying to cut down on plastic. It feels sturdy and doesnโt hold odors. Microwave & oven safe (minus lid): Being able to reheat right in the container is genuinely useful for office or school lunches. Leak-resistant lid: With the lid seated correctly, we didnโt see liquid slosh in a backpack or tote. What fell short Color wear: After normal hand-washing and dishwashing, the rose-gold color/finish showed noticeable wear. If the look is a major draw, expect cosmetic aging sooner than youโd hope. Divider vs. true bento: The single interior spacer doesnโt replace multiple compartments. Compared with our multi-container Bentgo box, we had less freedom to separate wet/dry or keep flavors apart. Portioning flexibility: That lone divider only creates two zones, and it can shift. If you pack varied lunches (salad + protein + snack), youโll likely miss dedicated compartments. Day-to-day experience Capacity is fine for a standard lunch, and reheating is straightforwardโjust remove the lid. Cleaning is easy, but to preserve the exterior youโll want gentle hand-washing; even then, our finish still lightened over time. The gasket seals well, but avoid overfilling saucy dishes; as with most lunch boxes, perfect โleak-proofโ depends on careful packing. Bottom line If your priorities are non-plastic construction and microwave/oven reheat, the MicroSteel checks key boxes. But if you rely on classic bento flexibility, the single divider is a downgrade from Bentgoโs multi-container options. For us, the finish wear and limited compartmentalization tip the scales toward Bentgoโs multi-container models instead.

Love the idea, get a different brandโฆ
Love the material, divider works great, hate whatever coating is on it. It started peeling off after just a few uses. Would like it a lot better with no coating.

A nice lunchbox
The lunchbox holds up well. It's durable, and the lid makes a reliable seal. It is a little difficult to remove the lid. With the release valve open, I still have to press it against my body to pry it open, but that's the trade-off of having an excellent seal. The paint does flake off over time with everyday use. Putting in the dishwasher would probably ruin the paint faster, so I always hand-wash it. I don't mind the paint too much; fortunately, it's only painted on the outside, and unpainted on the inside. The divider is a nice touch; it keeps dry items separated. Liquids can still mix between compartments, but it's not a big deal for me. It's a good quality, stainless steel, airtight lunchbox.

My new favorite lunch box
I like the fact that this can be used in the microwave. I wanted to get away from reheating stuff in plastic in the microwave when I take lunch to work. Glass is too heavy and fragile. The metal is lighter. It does seem to heat up differently in metal though. But it's just something that you need to learn. It doesn't say on the description, but you shouldn't use this in a microwave over 1000 W. I just reduce the power on the settings and haven't had any issues so far. I can see how it might be a little difficult to open, but that's why I haven't had any leaks so far. Another plus is that metal is so much easier to clean than plastic since plastic is a pain to clean if you have anything oily in there.

arrive on time
It was true to size. Keeps heated meals hot for quite a while, which is what i got it for. Love it. Not the cheapest, but well worth the money as it does what i need it to do.

Containers 5โญ๏ธ the $80 price not so much
I purchased one of these earlier this year and it was $40, the box is great, and I love the options of oven, freezer and dishwasher safe. I ended up buying 5 more of them direct from the manufacturer. Bentgo is also really solid when it comes to warranty claims. The $80 price tag here is too much for me and would recommend going through Bentgo or another retailer.
