I was not happy with this product. Hard to install. kept sticking to itself. I could not get all the bubbles out, so now I have rain drops to look through. It also was very hard to get it smooth, so I have a crease that looks like a crack in the window. Tears very easy. I can't remove it without it tearing. So I am out all this money for nothing. There was only enough product to do two windows, when I needed enough for 3 windows. I will not be buying this product again.

The film was easy for 2 people to apply. Considering the size of my sliding door glass (33x63) I would recommend this as a two-person job. Four days after install, there are still some small air bubbles. None of them are more than 1/4" diameter and do not impede visibility at all. The film results in a slight dimming of daylight. I can definitely say that the inside temperature near the door is noticeably cooler than what it was before. So overall, pleased with the results.

i have south facing windows with intense sunshine that burns my plants, but also provides the only source of natural light, so was looking for something sheer enough as to not darken the room too much but also effective enough to lower the heat / uv entering the space. most other vendors will have the standard silver or black silver window film that is a more vinyl substrate, but i was curious to compare how light we could go until it proved ineffective. side by side, the standard silver window film most vendors offer provided 2x the protection (based off of a light meter) than this film, which again is the sheerest on the market but also thin and made of different material (more thin crinkly plastic than flexible vinyl). the rating of nsn70 was appealing because i didn't want to reduce the amount of light, but seems like there is a reason the most common window film is that silver film... proper balance of transparency and actual protection.

This stuff went on easily enough. I could have used a second pair of hands on my larger ones (27x30”). The biggest thing I learned is that daylight coming through will hide bubbles and flaws. Once the sun went down I saw a lot of bubbles I couldn’t see during application! Next time I will do this when it’s dark outside.

It has reduced the amount of heat transfer we were getting from direct sun exposure. It does take some skill and practice to apply as getting the bubbles out and not scratching the film is tricky. With a little more practice, i might have been able to create a near flawless finish. It has solved our problem of damaging sun rays, just wished i was a little more patient with the application.
