Rothco Color Camo BDU Shirt Military Shirt

Picked up the Rothco camo BDU shirt for a Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater cosplay and it’s perfect. The camo pattern is super close to Snake’s jungle fatigues, and the fit is just right for that tactical look. Durable material, lots of pockets, and it holds up great during cons or photoshoots. Highly recommend for any Big Boss fan!

Great quality. Feels like authentic BDUs. The pattern is nice with some dark greens, similar to the classic woodland camo I think. The sizing is a little whacky though. I had to order a Large for the pants, and according to the size chart I should have ordered a Large for the shirt as well. But several reviews said the shirts run big, so I took their advice and ordered a size down. I'm glad I did, the Medium fits perfect.

So I had a bit of a problem when I ordered this the first time around. It said it was delivered, but it never showed up. I waited a few days after to see if it would arrive. Never did. I got in touch with Amazon about it, and they sent a replacement the very next day. Only took about 2 days to get here. So massive thanks to Amazon for sending another one and not being an absolute pain about it.The shirt, it's pretty nice. It's definitely a tougher fabric. So it's not like you're getting super cheap material with it. However, with it being a tougher fabric, it's also a little stiff and may need to be broken in for a bit, before it gets really comfortable. It seems to run a little big, though. Cause I normally wear a medium and this definitely fits like a large. Which isn't that big of a deal with me. But I would recommend going a size smaller. All in all, I really like it.

After years of dealing with flannel shirts and having my phone, pens, glasses, etc. slide out and hit the floor, I chanced upon this gem of a shirt. I'm usually skeptical about buying clothes online due to quality and size issues, but I decided to take a chance. This shirt does not disappoint. The buttons are doubled on each pocket, large and well sewn, the material has some heft to it, so I wear it like a jacket, over a t shirt. The size is true. I ordered a Large and I'm 6'1", 230lbs. It buttons with a little room left over, just right. It's been through 5 washings and no loose thread, lost buttons or color fading. I liked the shirt so much, I ordered one in khaki color. It looks like I'm going on safari when I wear it, which feels pretty cool to this 68 year old.

I bought this shirt because of the bellows pockets, to carry miscellaneous stuff when I walk my dog. This type of shirt (as opposed to a jacket) is hard to find. It is very nice quality, and has large pockets. I was a bit surprised at the heaviness of the material, despite being a poly/cotton blend. I wasn't in the military so maybe that is what BDU signifies. I'd like to find a shirt like this with lighter weight material.

Big baggy sleeves are big baggy yucky but I tailored this to look bad freakin ass so now I’m gonna go to Bulgaria and show my dad how cool I am. You wish you were this cool.
