Does this product have SLS as an ingredient?

It sounds as though the question is not whether or not a product contains SLS but whether or not it contains significant amounts of 1,4 dioxane and why the government is not requiring manufacturers to report on the LABEL whether or not it does. As always, a clear government standard and stricter government regulation is the answer here.

how  is it  at  cleaning backed  on  food   from  dishes  .  and  how  would this  stand up  to  Dawn dish  soap ?

Not as good as Dawn, not even close. This is a decent dish soap, it's very mild, though. If that's what you are looking for, it's great. Cleaning the dishes after meals, pretty good. If you have baked on food on your pots, pans and dishes, this will work, but you have to use more and scrub a lot harder than you do with Dawn. I bought a few cases but ended up using it for the soap dispensers in the bathrooms, and for insecticidal soap in my orchard. I even used it to wash the dogs when I ran out of dog shampoo once. Works great for that kind of stuff. I didn't find it that effective for cooked on food on dishes and pans. I had to use Bar Keepers Friend for every pot or pan before I used this soap to get everything off. I cook daily and use several pans and dishes. I found that for pans that have been used for roasting meat, it's almost useless. Doesn't get all grease or carbon off your pans without a lot of soaking and struggle. No thanks, I don't have that kind of time and energy to spend washing dishes.

I use this to do dishes...but can it be used in a dish washer? as a dish washing soap?
