This works just as advertised. I used it on both boots and sneakers and they have held just fine. I would recommend not using the shoes for 24-48 hours after gluing to really give it time to solidify. I made the mistake of using the shoes same day and it fell back apart, but after waiting longer the hold of the glue was super!

I have a pair of boots that were separating in certain areas which was a shame as I really like them. I decided to try to save it for a little bit longer and glue together the different layers. My concern with using regular superglue or the like is that it's very stiff and can crack. So when put on shoes where there's a lot of flex as you move, I wasn't convinced it would work. So I found this glue to try. I applied this glue, held the layers together for about a minute and let it sit overnight. So far, it's held up well and there has been no separation so I feel like I can get a little bit more life out of the boots.

In all my 60+ years I have never used a “super glue” type of product that is as fantastic as Shoe-Fix Glue! I originally purchased it to repair a shoe of course. But then I needed to repair something else that was broken and the options of various super glues we had available here at home were all lacking in one way or another. So I chose the shoe glue on something that wasn’t a shoe. Lo and behold it held fast and strong! I was so amazed I have used it for all repairs and threw away all those other super glues. I’ve used it on jewelry, ceramics, plastics, eye glasses, everything. The bottle opens easy, it pours easy, never clogs! I love it. One bottle lasted almost a year.

This "Shoe-fix Glue" is one AWESOME product!! It successfully works on ANYTHING not just on the soles of shoes!! It worked on the soles of my favorite slippers, my jewelry, a broken head rest in my car, a pocketbook strap, etc. ...the list goes on!! You can slap this stuff on anything you want bonded together! This stuff is GREAT!!

This stuff works so well. I had a couple shoes that were falling apart and I wasn’t ready to get rid of them. I bought this and those shoes are good as new now!

This stuff has worked magnificently for me. Perhaps a little too well. "How is that even possible?" you're wondering. I will chase down the video captured by Thing 1, because the hilarity of my mishap with Shoe Glue was so great that it warranted preservation; likely to be replayed at my retirement or funeral to reinforce what a dingus I am to be foiled by glue. I have had decades of faithful service provided to me from many a pair of Doc Martens, with no need for repair. So it was that I was crestfallen when my kid saw her first pair suffer a nasty separation of the layers of the outsole on both pairs. I have used many other glues for shoe repair over the years, for much lesser shoes. None of them worked quite well. Now, maybe I was far too invested in this because I have teenagers who jokingly say I have "a goth problem" and in whom I felt unrestrained pride when they both wanted their first pairs of Docs, but I NEEDED THESE BOOTS TO BE OK, MAN! Enter this elixir of adhesive sorcery. It got a bit sloppy, because reasons. Then I held the sole together, fully expecting seepage. No big deal. That will come off. And it only had to be held a few seconds, right? Aaaand that's all it took to glue my finger firmly to the outsole. I'll just pull that right off. Oh. Guess not. And so I lifted my hand, boot attached, and showed the spawn. That's when the recording began, and rolled again intermittently, for the next *fifteen minutes*. Not the fifteen minutes that Karen says she waited for her drink at Applebee's, but an actual fifteen minutes. It was more like fourteen and some change, but warranted rounding up. It finally fell off, taking the extra glue and some skin with it. So yeah, that was funny. Oh, and the bond on the shoe has been going strong for almost exactly a year. I love this stuff. It has been used on things besides shoes as well, with much success. Why a missing star? -The cleanup on overspill is a pain, which wouldn't be so bad if it didn't dry white. It's best to apply with surgical precision, and let's face it- most people aren't about that life. -My bottle has not dried up in a year, but everything in the nozzle has and the cap has glued onto the bottle. Taking a wrench to the cap to get it off is a total pain. -I bet you like your fingers. Just kidding. It's super glue on crack- if you glue your shoes to your hand, that's not the glue's fault. Laugh about it. -my experience was that it set too quickly. I see other people had a different experience, so maybe it was an issue of material or humidity. Why I love it - It works - It lasts - Brilliant skin exfoliant (I'm just kidding; please do not do that) Happy gluing, kids!

Product is that good. You can repair your shoe perfectly and their is no evidence that it has been glued. I did long walks with the repaired shoe and with the glue applied the shoe is still as good as new. Excellent product, you will not be disappointed.

Debido a la forma en que piso, mis zapatos y tenis tienden a abrirse rápidamente de los lados y la punta. No sabía de este tipo de pegamentos y decidí probarlo. Resultó muy bien, el pegamento fue fácil de aplicar (la botella tiene dos piezas para sellar), secó realmente rápido pero sin endurecer demasiado pronto y la adhesión se siente muy firme, ahora a esperar cuánto uso soporta y tener que aplicarlo de nuevo.

I initially bought these for my shoes, to save my boots, which couldn't be saved, but since then I have used this glue for many other non shoe repairs like ceramic type magnets & it's worked better than super glue, as super glue got absorbed in too easily, this is thicker so a better bond. I'm not sure what type of glue this is, I haven't looked into it, but works on lots of things!
