This is a meat cutter must have.
This is a must have if you're boning meats or a meat cutter. They are extremely easy to clean, don't have too much of an odor, and keep you from mutilation. I've been a meat cutter for 23 years, and any time I've cut without one, I've nailed myself at least once. Wear this, and you're good to go.

Definitely recommend this for everyday or work-related cutting/butchering purposes.
This is very much worth the money -- I strongly recommend this chainmail glove. I bought this for use with cutting garnishes and cutting homemade clear ice for cocktails. My hands can be a bit clumsy most of the time (i.e. a firm grip on my phone one second becomes a random, inexplicable drop the next), and I knew I needed extra protection when working with sharp knives for cutting fruits, vegetables, and ice. While the glove, at the smallest size I could order for my hand size, does have a bit of extra space in the glove (no more than a half inch), the fit is pretty good. Definitely wouldn't hurt to order a size down if your hand size is more towards the middle of the measurement chart (I'm the very end on the low side). This thing immediately proved to be a great buy on my first garnish prep use -- dang peeler coulda sliced my pinky off slipping off a lemon. The glove caught the peeler's blow, which was only a graze, and my pinky was safe. For cutting my clear ice blocks, this does have a pretty solid hold on the ice. It is not too hard to clean, but perhaps may be a bit tricky getting little bits of stuff caught in between the little links. All in all, the best $50 I spent towards preventing a trip to a hospital because of my derpy hands.

Functions as expected
Sizing is a bit off. I went with the size of my work gloves and this resulted in a reasonable fit. If I had gone with the chart, I would have picked one or perhaps even two sizes smaller which would not have fit. As it is, there I can barely get my hand into the glove through the wrist opening but the finger length is about right.

Excellent Glove: Saved Me From Shucking Myself!
I initially misunderstood the construction — the glove has a triangular slit connecting the metal from the adjustable wrist strap. But it's there to give you room to put it on and tighten. So with that understanding, I can say this glove is a lifesaver.

Used to shuck oysters safely
After shucking a dozen oysters with a basic gardening glove, I felt much safer shucking three dozen oysters in the first round with my new Chainmail Gloves. They fit loosely, but are comfortable and work well - a different feeling than other gloves. Rinse your hands under water and it flows easily through the gloves as you might imagine.

Its okay, but kinda expensive
Maybe my expectations were too high, but the fit is not great. The fingers are too long, so there is additional length at the fingertips to deal with when trying to cut (or use a mandoline, which was my main purpose). Otherwise the fit is fine. It works, but it feels a little awkward on your hand. Its also kinda pricey for what you get. If I had paid $15, this would be 4-5 stars.

You won’t cut yourself
I returned the first order - I ordered a x/s , to small . The return was easy ! They credited back my credit card . I re-ordered a Med size this time and it was perfect . The old saying you get what you pay for . This was it , the forever glove and no more cutting yourself . P.S. I use this glove for cutting Firm Mangos definitely the tool I needed . ( Nice )

Good quality, but size measuments seem off. Order bigger than measurement chart suggests.

Fit perfectly for a smoker chef. Will protect from curting into hand when trimming meat with a very sharp knife.
