the top shoulder pads are not adjustable and could be an issue for some. Leather smells fine. Pockets are just dandy, length is great and the leather is nice and soft and supple. Unless you are Mr Fantastic with rubber arms, as others have said, I strongly recommend you have someone help you fit it the first time as I did......which is why I'm happy with it. I compared it to a lot of others which had pockets that were too small and nothing at the shoulder to make it comfortable without paying too much....this was a good investment for me and I've gone without one at a forge and welding for 58 years because I don't do it full time, BUT I'm tired of putting holes in good clothes and LONG overdue. The top pads on the straps might not fit everyone, but they did fit me and it was comfortable with the help of another adjusting it. It's an investment I should've made long ago, but it is a good one for me.

Highly recommend for welders. Extremely durable, versatile and comfortable. I use all the time and it lasts.

I love the leather. It's heavy duty so will prevent from my husband burning his clothes while doing some of his work. It has lots of big deep pockets. The only thing I didn't like was there was some loose stitching.

I have only very recently taken up welding and that at only a basic DIY homeowner level. In other words, I don't know what I really want, need or expect - it's all new to me. There are dozens of welding aprons available for online purchase at widely varying price points and like all things offered in this way you are really limited to just your 'gut' instincts because you can't physically evaluate an item or try something on - it's a crap shoot. What stood out for me was that this Apron had several pockets, its bib appeared to cover a higher/broader area and it had what appeared to be a totally adjustable suspender and belt arrangement. Would it work for me? I couldn't be sure, but since its price was surprisingly reasonable I took a chance. I'm glad I did. This Apron is very well made and its quality becomes clear as soon as you take it out of its package. The leather is good quality and the workmanship is first rate. This apron will far outlast my usage and I think it would satisfy even the most demanding user. Buy it. It's surprisingly good.

I actually got this for planting cactuses after getting many spines in my legs and belly and chest even though I was using tongs. The length is great because it is longer than others and protects more of me and it has an adjustable waistband. I also really like the pockets. I think the price was reasonable too.

I read several reviews before I ordered this apron. When I got it, it looked pretty good. I had it a couple weeks and started welding with it last week. The leather is just the right thickness, some reviews said it was too thin. This thickness made it sturdy enough to handle metal sparks and chips when grinding, but not making it stiff. It is long enough to protect your clothes down to your boots and the pockets are wonderful. It is really nice.

Great apron! I typically don’t like to weld with a jacket on unless I’m doing overhead welding. This is great for the small projects I get into and keeping my clothes mostly clean. However the pockets are odd sizes. No medern phone is fitting in those top pockets, if it is narrow enough you won’t get it out easily. The leather and strap system are fantastic otherwise.

Bought this apron to safe my husband’s work clothes from being chewed up by the grinder. Hopefully he wears it when he’s welding too. 😉 It’s well made and does its job.

this product was a good fit for my needs as a barber. I expected it to be shorter but don't mind the longer length compared to my more standard issue one I am replacing after two years. the pockets are big. However, the fit in the chest was a bit less than I needed for my big boy stature. lose one star for comfort.

Gave this as a gift and it was greatly appreciated

Adjustable fit, thick enough, not too heavy. No loose stitches, or misaligned pockets. No complaints.
