Well they do say pigeons are very intelligent creatures. Bought this device to stop pigeons 'dropping' on to my car below the overhead line where they like to rest. Worked for about a week but now 'business' is more or less back to normal. Not the device's fault but this clearly isn't a long-term solution. Device has lasted well in a relatively protected area and certainly looks good. Pity it doesn't work.

The Item does its job, of removing pigeons from the area, it its not built to do the job, in the long term. It's just not fit for the purpose. Great idea, poorly made.

We were sick of cleaning pigeon poop off our wooden garden swing seat and thought this would look better than spikes on it! We found it has worked a treat - the pigeons have found an alternative toilet. One glitch though: the next morning after the first night we found the bird on the floor. The string supplied had simply frayed and broken. Although a bit breezy it wasn’t a particularly windy night. Solved this by using garden twine, which is obviously a lot more durable! Very pleased with this product - doing its job admirably.

Poor quality,had it for one week and it’s damaged already. Not worth the money

I was getting rather annoyed with feeding pigeons with my grass seed, and having seen these deployed at many Golf Clubs I thought a £40 investment worth trying. Amazingly it works so well that I haven't seen one pigeon feeding in my garden over the past week. Not too sure how long this will last and may consider re-positioning it - So far it has been brilliant.

Great scarer and keeps the gulls away

I ordered this for a friend who is having an issue with seagulls. When it’s put into the ground the seagulls fly over it not scared at all my friend then put it on the roof as he thought if it’s higher they might get scared from it that’s definitely not the case they sat across from it until the string snapped and can no longer be used. I wouldn’t recommend this for trying to keep seagulls away definitely doesn’t work. If you fancy running up and down the street with a big pole attached to a kite for whatever reason this is for you.

It’s a great product that actually works well, bird activity in my garden is way down which is what I needed! But marking low due to the quality of the pole, the carbon fibre has frayed on the ends of the extending poles and several time caused deep splinter in my hands as from time to time depending on the winds you’ve got to untangle the line. But cause of the splinters and pain associated I’ve marked it low, I’d never expect a fishing pole (which this basically is with a kite on the end) to splinter and hurt the user on the first day and several after that.

Wir haben uns für diese "Vogelscheuche" entschieden, weil die Schwalben immer zu uns auf die Terrasse geflogen sind. Nicht zum Bau eines Nestes, eher zu besuch. Dennoch ein unangenehmer Besucher. Kurz mal Google befragt was dagegen hilft und wir sind auf dieses Exemplar gestoßen. Es gibt weit aus teurere Exemplare. Für uns war aber dieses einfache / günstige zum Testen ausreichend. Kaum aufgebaut (Aufbau super einfach) war auch Ende mit den ungebetenen Gästen. Wir sind sehr überrascht das es so gut funktioniert. Klar, man sollte es nicht bei Sturm aufhängen. Denn auch wir glauben, dass das Material einen ordentlichen Sturm nicht aushält. Zum Glück sitzen wir bei Sturm dann nicht auf der Terrasse 😜 also kann der Vogelschreck dann auch gerne drinnen bleiben. Für uns ein super Ergebnis und der Zweck ist völlig erfüllt! Falls das Teil mal kaputt geht, kaufen wir wieder einen günstigen. Denn es reicht für uns vollkommen aus.

Facile à monter, je l'ai fixé sur une branche en haut de mon cerisier, et depuis, plus de pigeon ni de merle. C'est radical, dès que le cerf-volant bouge, plus aucun oiseau n'approche. Mes cerises ont été sauvées. le manche télescopique est flexible mais solide
