VICE DOs & DON'Ts 2: 17 Years of Street Fashion Critiques: 13 Years of Vice Magazine's Street Fashion Critiques

I use this to occupy my time while on the toilet. It's a series of picture which captions ether damning the individual to fashion hell or lauding them as a person with great style. Sometimes the lines are blurred. Some captions will make you snort with laughter.

Vice continues to produce a book that is laugh out loud funny. They never disappoint when it comes to fashion.Lord knows they should bring that column back for their site. It would be a beacon in the ocean of mediocre writing that VICE is now known for.

I was super excited when I saw this online, I don't know if I was aware of vice having a second fashion do and don't book out and just forgot or what but I was super happy to see that I could finally read another book full of their hilarious commentary… Unfortunately, I have to say that I was a little disappointed in this book, at least compared to the first one. In my opinion it just wasn't as funny however I am going to read it again b/c with books like these it's easy to miss a lot the first time around.

The first one is so dead on funny, every other caption makes you crack up and is totally dead on. Except for the one making fun of the dog in the cage in Korea, yeah the fact they eat dogs over there is really funny, F__k you guys.Anyway. this one - meh. A lot of the captions are REALLY reaching and go on wayyy too long and just don't hit that "yes, EXACTLY" feeling the first one did.Still it has enough funny stuff to make it worth while if you pay half price for it.

I was introduced to VICE about a decade ago, and when the first DOs & DON'Ts book came out I'd use it as a gateway drug to get my friends and my friends' friends addicted. Coincidentally someone robbed that book from apartment a few weeks ago, so it's probably fate that VICE's second (and equally irreverent) DOs & DON'Ts book was published. Like the first volume, the second is a new anthology of the most witty and often biting critiques of your fellow man - basically everything you've ever wanted to say out loud, but never have. Because you're a pansy or something. Whether or not you have the first volume, this one comes highly recommended.

It's the Dos and Don'ts I love to look at when I'm supposed to be working, or want to feel better about myself, but in physical form. The whole experience just feels realer when I can glide my fingers over these sumptuous photos. Also, this is the perfect coffee table book. It confirms for my guests their suspicions that I will only purchase or read picture books. Anyway, it'll make you laugh.

I was a huge fan of the first DOs & DON'Ts book, and the second one doesn't disappoint. One of the funniest things I've read in a long time, the perfect coffee table book. Very excited to make this my gift of choice this holiday season.

Looks good although I wish it was wrapped better as the corner of the spine is all bent from shipment. Apart from that though it looks as pictured and overall is a funny book
