We purchased these to contain our almost 2 year old’s lunches at school, when the Bento Fresh one’s we had been using for just over 6 months started to develop mold. Furthermore, as these are 18/8 stainless steel they are way better than using plastic (regardless of being BPA free) as plastic or any other chemical WILL leach into the food. Nonetheless I was hesitant to purchase these as they were so much smaller than the Bento Fresh boxes, however in a comparison, you aren’t losing a whole lot of space since the Bento Fresh box uses a lot of wasted space with the plastic sections. The one wish I had for this lunch box is that the lid remained connected to the bottom (like the Bento Fresh does), to avoid any spills from it coming off in my little one’s lunch bag, however it’s just something I’ll have to get used to. Overall we’re pleased with the quality and there weren’t any spills in our little one’s lunch bag when this came home at the end of the day.

Die Dose ist optisch sehr schön und robust. Die Fächer sind durch Streben untereilt, die an den Seiten befestigt sind und zum Boden hin einen kleinen Abstand haben. Ich habe die Dose für meinen Sohn (Kita) gekauft. Sie ist perfekt, um einen kleinen Brotdoppeldecker und Wurst/ Käse sowie Obst (wenn man z.B. eine Banane geschickt zuschneidet, passt sie fast ganz in ein Fach) und Gemüse unterzubringen. Momentan ist in der Box noch immer eine Kleinigkeit drin, woraus ich schließe, dass die Menge bzw. die Größe ausreichend ist. Allerdings stelle ich mir schon vor, dass sie früher oder später durch eine weitere Box ergänzt erden muss, je nach Hunger des Kindes. Würde die Box aber auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen, da sie wirklich robust ist und problemlos in der Spülmaschine zu reinigen ist. Bei Plastikboxen habe ich des öfteren das Problem gehabt, dass sie sich verzogen haben. Hier geht das zum Glück nicht. Teuer, aber, so denke ich, das Geld wert.

I bought these for my 5 year old twins and they've been using them very happily for over a month. Great for everything except really wet food. They love the variety of the 4 compartments. I typically do veggies, fruit, main dish (little sandwiches made from kings Hawaiian rolls fit perfectly!) and a snack in the 4 compartments. I also bought an all stainless leak proof bowl/lid to use for pasta or really juicy fruit like watermelon or cut up oranges. Only complaint about the Quad is that the description says to throw it in the dishwasher and when I did a few times I noticed the cute plastic lid cover shrank a bit and doesn't fit nicely on the stainless lid anymore. I stopped putting the lids in after that. The quad part works great in the dishwasher, it's just the decorative plastic lid cover that didn't fair well. That part is removable from the stainless lid but definitely too difficult to do on a daily basis so I just wash the whole lid by hand.
