Dog Training Whistle with Red Lanyard to Stop Barking. Professional Silent Adjustable Ultrasonic Tool to Train and Control Poppy Bark

I purchased this whistle to distract my dogs, in order to discourage unnecessary barking. So far, it seems to be working well. I first adjusted the whistle to the pitch that got their attention the quickest. I had a neighbor come knock on my door three separate times...(at about 5 minute intervals) to test the results. She knocked the first time and the boys barked. I blew the whistle and immediately said "no barking" in a calm voice. They looked at me and stopped barking instantaneously. When she knocked the second time, only one of my 2 little dogs made a tiny "gurr, woof" the other boy was quiet. I blew the whistle again and used the same command, there was silence. After the third knock, all I did was say no bark, neither one of them made a sound. I gave them each a treat and praised them for being good boys. I'm sure over the course of the next few days, my guys will need reminders and that is to be expected...it takes patience and consistency to help our fuzzy kids learn (just as it does the non fuzzy kind).The whistle itself is nice and the locking nut stays securely in position. I love the cute doggy lanyard...it's adorable. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this whistle to anyone, who has a dog that likes to bark a little more often or be a bit more boisterous than they should.

I have been trying different things to stop my dog from barking when people come into my house. I thought this would work but it doesn't. It is not silent and if your blowing it when someone comes in, its annoying for the guest. It did not help my dog from barking, I threw it in the trash

I think this is the best thing out there to prevent dogs from barking. It just won’t work on 3 or more dogs that bark at once

The whistle itself is great, and we found it effective for calling our dog. However, we did have 2 issues with it: The minor issue is that the mechanism to lock the selected frequency in place does not seem to do a very good job. I found that it had often slipped, and I'd have to readjust to the desired frequency. The bigger issue is that the whistle did not stay securely in it's holder, and I ended up losing the whistle when it shook loose out of it's holder during a run. If you're aware of this possibility, you can hold on to the whistle or keep it in your pocket while running.

This barely works. You have to be right on top of the animal for it to work, its not silent at all and hurts my ears as well. You're supposed to be able to adjust it and fix it in place with a nut, but that doesnt work either. Very cheaply made.

I didn't think this would work honestly. But i thought i would try it out. It is important to find and set it to the right frequency. If you do not do that it will not work. Once i found the frequency that caught my dogs attention i waited. Once they started to bark i blew the whistle and they stopped immediately. And it has worked every time except on our oldest dog but that is because he is almost deaf. It has a great lanyard which is great i wear it on me at all times while I'm in the house.Con...this whistle is not silent. You will hear it. It doesn't bother me nor anyone in the house as hearing the whistle for a moment compaired to hearing 3 mini doxies barking non stop for several minutes the whistle wins.

the only thing worse than a overpriced piece of junk is a "NON RETURNABLE" overpriced piece of junk... the only mistake I made was believing the positive reviews over the negative...this whistle does not adjust, does not emit any useable sound and simply does not work.... I dont write many bad reviews but save yourself time and money on this one..

Works great with our 12 year old Beagle, who is going deaf. Instead of yelling her name & no response, we blow the whistle, she hears it & comes to us. Perfect fir our needs, & hers!
