Best Running Light I've Used
I have been a distant runner all my life. I've competed in night runs and have ran in the morning before the sun is up. I've tried so many different lights. They are either a burden to carry or uncomfortable. This is great. I'm a smaller woman and it fits me perfectly. I've had it for awhile now and the battery hasn't faded on me yet. It doesn't bounce around when I run. I think the light is good. There are couple of reviews that mention it is almost too bright and they have to dim it when passing cars, but I don't think that's the case. I think its the right amount of light.

Very Bright, on-off is cumbersome
Very bright! I use this for cleaning houses and not for running. I clean a house that is very dark inside and I need a light that will follow with me everywhere I go while keeping my hands free. I have tried those lighted headlamps but they make my forehead too sweaty and I find I have to keep turning my head downward to keep the light where I need to see causing neck strain. This lighted belt is perfect because I can put it on my chest right where I need it and I don't have to keep turning my head for light where I need to see. My only issue is the box on the back. Its heavy and clunky. Obviously for using to clean I don't need a blinking light on my back. I wish I could cut it off but unfortunately its also where the charger and battery is. I also wish turning it on and off were simpler. You have to hold one of the buttons down for 3 seconds. Then to turn off you have to hit a button two more times (one for lower light, then again for blinking light, then again for off). I'm constantly pressing that button over and over. And why there are two buttons next to each other I have yet to figure out. They seem to be the same thing, why are there two? Maybe I'm totally missing something, but there are zero directions included so I have no idea what the purpose of those two independent buttons that seem to do the same thing are. In all I'm happy with my purchase and I'm sure if using this for it's intended purpose of running, it's just fine.

Lightweight and bright.
I bought this light as I go on early morning walks with my dog and needed something hands free. The size is good and it is not heavy to wear. I really like the light and its functionality, and I can wear it around my waist; it shines nicely for my dog to see the path. However, the only downside is the charge/batter life does not hold very long. I seem to be charging it every other day. I would recommend this light.

used one for years, this is best
great product, very bright. I often shield it when cars are coming its that bright. Unlike heads lamps, it stays in place and ideal for running on uneven surfaces as it keeps everything in sight

Loved the original model, not so much with this one
The light is great and I love wearing this along with a headlamp on night runs. I can see perfectly! I purchased 3 of the previous models and loved them, thus I bought three. A new light was gifted to me and it turns out it is a new model. What I like about it is it delivers much more battery life which is nice. What I dislike about it: 1. For some reason my light starts flashing almost as if there's a short in it. It's very irritating. Maybe it's a faulty light but it doesn't seem to do it when it's fully charged, only when it's less than maybe 75% battery remaining. 2. The added battery life has made for a large battery pack on the back strap vs being embedded in the light itself like before. Not a killer, BUT that brings me to number 3. 3. The charging port lies on the inside of the battery pack, so sits across the back when wearing. The prior model had it on the bottom of the light which facilitated plugging in the light and running it off a portable battery for as long as you need. I had done all-night runs running that light, and it was great. The port location on this model basically makes it impossible to run powered by a battery pack. So once the 5 hours or so burns out, it's done. 4. They claim it's 7 hours of battery life, I get 4-5 at best. 5. The red light on the back ALWAYS flashes. The prior model could be controlled where you could turn it off, or only run the red light and not the main light. The button is still there but seems to have the same functionality as the top button that just turns the light on and off and cycles through brightness level. It's still a great light for the price point, and had I not had the prior model to compare it to, perhaps I would have rated it higher.

VERY bright
This light is super bright and the harness is excellent- sits nicely and doesn't move. It is particularly great to have when trail walking at night- you can see all around you. A problem I found that others might not have is that the light on my chest bothered my eyes (VERY bright). My wife solved this problem for me by rigging up a little hood out of plumbing pipe and it is perfect now.

Amazing!!!
This chest light is amazing! I bought it because I needed a light for the Joshua Tree Half Marathon which was a night trail run. The light illuminated everything in front of me! I would even say that it is too bright. For example, if someone was coming towards you, it would definitely make the person look away because of how bright it is. It’s very comfortable to wear and is very lightweigth. I thought that the strap that crosses your torso diagonally and over the shoulder would rub against my neck but to my surprise it did not. I would say that a charge lasts about 1h20mins on the high setting. The light turned off on me before I was able to finish the half marathon but, I’m sure if I had selected the lower setting the charge would have lasted the entire time. I use this light 2x a week for when l attend the evening run clubs which start at 6pm and by then the sun has already sat. I’m very happy with this purchase and recommend it to anyone who needs one!

i love it. It enables near-daylight speeds while trail running ...
I ordered this a few weeks ago after tripping and falling while running at night. So far, i love it. It enables near-daylight speeds while trail running at night, or running on dark neighborhood trails or sidewalks. I think the claim of how far ahead of you it "illuminates" might be a stretch, but for running (at my speeds anyway) it is way more than adequate. Battery life seems as advertised, charge time, too. More than adequate for me. I like the adjustability of this light/belt combo. A few notes that keep it from 5 stars in my opinion. I wish it had some tilt adjustment. I'm not your typical skinny runner with totally ripped abs and flat chest. I'm a pudgy old dude, hence there are few perfectly vertical surfaces on my front side for aiming this thing where I want it to go. A side effect of that situation is that it is easy for the light to ride up, or point slightly upwards, which gives some glare in your eyes. I solved this by making a small "visor" out of black neoprene and just hot-gluing it to the top of the light. No more glare in the face. Also, I'm 6'4", and like to run trails, which in my climate and season pretty much means I'm going to be doing it at night. I like the light to ride lower down, closer to my waist than the center of my chest. The lower the beam angle, the more the contours of the ground in front of you get illuminated due to shadows, etc. This also helps avoid tripping on raised sidewalk sections at night, too. For that purpose, the top strap is a little short for tall/big-chested folks. Easily fixed by adding a short section of elastic to the top strap. Waist strap about good enough up to 40" or so. Don't have a GoPro, so I can't comment on that, no one wants to see me plod and huff and puff anyway. But the light serves it's purpose well, and is very reasonably priced for what it is.

A bright, lightweight torch that means I can still run in the woods at night!
This brilliant device was recommended to me by a friend who is also a runner. After many years absence from this type of exercise, I began running again in the summer. I particularly enjoyed running in the local woods, but as autumn and winter descended, I resigned myself to being restricted to tarmac. Until I bought this chest torch. And now I am running in the woods at night and it is magical. Ok - it is not bright enough to illuminate the whole wood. But it gives out more than enough to be able to see the path and any obstacle for a good 10 to 12 metres ahead. I can fully understand why the instructions advice people using the torch not to look at the front of it as they turn it on. I tend not to use the rear (red) light but I imagine for anyone running on roads at night, this could literally be a lifesaver. I am not yet running massive distances (5-7km) so I don’t know if the battery is an issue. But I easily get 4 or 5 runs in before I charge it up. I have not been tempted to see how long it lasts before running out completely as the woods are pitch black at night and I wouldn’t want to find myself in the dark half way through.

Great for night/early morning running
Nice and bright - 3 settings - high, low and strobe. Don't notice it at all when running. One idea for the next version is I do wish that the light had a visor over it. When running down stairs, it can be too bright on the eyes and I need to deflect the beam a little. Otherwise a great idea!

Buen producto
Buen reflector, la luz blanca frontal tiene un alcance amplio y la luz trasera roja da mucha visibilidad por la espalda.
