Purchased a few years ago to protect my floor after my chair scratched it up a bunch. Today its still intact and doing its job. It has begun to wear down some but I imagine it could still go another 2 or 3 years before truly falling apart. It has an adhesive on the bottom but I chose not to peel the layer sealing it off and just use it as a normal mat and there's been no issues from doing this. Overall the product is cheap and effective for what its for, but will not last forever if put under constant wear.

My son spends a lot of time at the computer and moves his chair back and forth all day, scratching my hardwood floor. This mat has totally solved that problem. It's nice and big, and covers a large portion of the floor. A chair with wheels can easily roll over it. It vacuums beautifully, and spots and stains wipe up easily. My son is still deciding exactly how he wants to position it so he hasn't used the adhesive yet, but it doesn't shift at all even without the adhesive. It stays right where you put it. Problem solved!

Great product for the price point and it stays in place very well. However, it does shed quite a lot so it’s a bit annoying to clean. I’d reorder however because of the look and the versatility in hopes that maybe my set were just a bit faulty

This is my Second one and they work well. The first wore out but that is to be expected as I work from home 9 to 10 hours a day so it gets rolled over all day long 5 to 7 days a week. Last longer that others I have tried. The non slip backing is also great. Never had to adjust it after placing. Highly Recommend.

Very thin and slippery

Read the reviews and sellers recommendations for install I ironed the fold creases prior to installing. When ready to install I pulled off the clear plastic from the white pad backing. Install was easy with 2 people. We placed one end down and pressed down as we laid the pad down. No wrinkles, lays flat. Chair rolls easy and I don’t have to worry about the chair rolling out from underneath me as it did on hard wood floor. Since this is my art room I am not worried about paint getting on pad and it was inexpensive enough to replace in a few years if needed. I believe this was a good buy.

DO NOT BUY This thing is so cheap. Not worth $25, maybe $10. The edges fray up, catching your chair and anything else. The bottom has some kind of plastic/nylon layer which then makes it sound like you're chair is on a nest of crinkling plastic bags. The wrinkles that were there out of the box haven't disappeared in over one month of almost constant use. It even feels cheap to the touch. There is nothing worth $25 about this rug.

For years I was using one of those suction cup plastic hardwood protector floor mats for my home desk, but I could not stand the rolling my chair would do as the mat provided no traction for the wheels of my chair. On top of that the plastic would crack over time, it would deform, and overall I just hated how poorly it stuck to the floor. No more! After switch to this carpeted mat I can say for certain that if you have a hardwood floor, and a desk with a chair that isn't going to be moving from its location, then you need to buy this! The carpet is easy to clean with a vacuum, it provides great traction for the wheels of the chair, and the adhesion of the mat is by far the best of any I have tried to date. (not that a couple years later the corners and edges of the mat haven't started to come unstuck, but that's what dust and weekly vacuuming will do)
