CR Gibson MJ16A-8 Debossed Soft Leatherette Journal Assorted Colors

Hopefully an update to come soon...Other reviewers say they receive three, but I only got one, hence the one star feedback. It's really more of an issue with the seller for the misrepresentation and *false advertising* of the quantity you're buying because CR Gibson journals themselves are so high-quality, in my opinion, I've been using them for years.The journal I recieved was the green one I have photographed for you to be as helpful as I can, hoping to get a helpful rating. The cover photo is true to color, which judging by my phone screen, slightly differs from its display picture. I was a bit disappointed by how small the ruling of the pages were as opposed to my past three CR Gibson journals, but this could be an upside for some as you're maximizing the 256 pages. The seller does not show a picture of the interior swirls that I have taken for you, so you may also find this helpful in influencing your decision to buy according to your preferences. I find them beautiful but have yet to see if they take away from the look of my journal writing, especially since I journal in different colors.Returning to the one star issue at hand, I contacted the seller to express my frustration that they had misrepresented this listing as three, not ONE, since apparently they stopped doing that from when the other reviewers left comments, which is DECIEVING! I'm currently waiting for their reply and if I get a good response, I hope to post an update as to whether or not my situation of only receiving a fraction of what they seem to promise gets resolved. Though my instinct was to leave a poor seller review, I didn't want to tarnish their good reputation if this was some kind of mistake. I was very polite about it, but warned them that I would be writing this review so others wouldn't get "duped."Current opinion: I would recommend buying a CR Gibson journal from anywhere but this seller... don't get ripped off the way it appears I have been!

First of all, I know a lot of people have complaints that they pay the price and assume they are getting three and are disappointed to only get one. I feel you but the item is clearly stated to be one journal. I purchased my first a few years ago and I was a little disappointed not to get to select a color but after a while it became a bit of a game. I have the item on my wishlist and I check it regularly to see when the price goes on sale and I buy them then. I use them for different things but these journals are durable. My main one has been put through all sorts of wear and tear and the only thing that has happened is the decorative button has popped off. Since it's over the magnet it can be pressed right back on. But these journals bindings are sound. The strap is strong, and I've never had a page so much as loosen. I'm terribly rough on mine.Not only is the product something I'm happy with but I'm happy with the seller. I've never had an issue with this seller.

Unlike others who wrote reviews on this item, I only received one notebook, not three, & I wasn’t given a choice of color.However, the one notebook that I did receive was brand new, great quality, & exactly what I was looking for. But I think $30 for one notebook is a bit much. Enough said.

These are nicely made journals. However, if ordering, consider that there is no color choice. I ordered 2 sets of three journals for 6 girls...one set was the colors pictured, the other set was more masculine colors...brown, red, and black.

Although the image shows three, and the description makes you think you are getting all three because it says they come in assorted colors. You will only receive one, and the color is not shown in the image, the one I received is navy blue. with the map of the world embossed on the front.

Beautiful journals and well made, but design is completely different than advertised and color's received are gray with flowers, teal with bold pattern of lily?, and pink with scroll-work.

Pretty books but the third was a grey not green what so ever lol
