Actually stayed on the cat
Wasn't sure this would work, but was brilliant

Ideal for small cats
We have a small (<3kg) and tenacious cat. After quite a serious operation she easily removed the provided cone, the alternative sizes provided, and struggled so much against DIY paper-plate / sticky tape fall-back so we were worried about the hard edge. So this was a God send. Soft and light, and with a drawstring so it fits securely without a hard edge. It was also easier for her to eat/drink than a conical one. Cat wore it for a month (eventually) without fuss.It was great for us, but there are two caveats:- We had to tie a knot in the drawstring, because it will give under the pressure from a tenacious cat that figured out forcing the collar through small gaps would loosen it.- Because it's soft and flat, rather than hard and conical, not all stitches/wounds are out of reach. So I would recommend watching for a few hours to make sure your cat cannot reach the injury site.

Very successful- depends what you need it to prevent
This has been a game changer. Our cat is 5.5kg and this is the large, it doesn't stress him out at all as you can see and he can't touch his operation scar on his belly. (Same height as it would be for female spaying) but he has worked out how to bend to get at his bits. Which was something we needed to avoid. It just isn't quite wise enough to stop that cat like bend but, if you need it for a spaying or an operation then it's perfect and we are still using it!

Game changer!
My cat keeps licking a sore he has on his tummy, when I put the generic plastic cone on him he found it so stressful (stumbling, walking backwards, shaking his head to get it off)This is absolutely brilliant (and pretty funny to look at) and works! I’d recommend keeping an eye on them while they wear it so they don’t get stuck though. I would say this wouldn’t work for cats with issues with their back paws as my cat is still able (just about) to groom them. Great for tummy, neck, upper back areas

Cute but ineffective.
Our sweet boy was castrated a few days ago and has been looking absolutely miserable. We’ve had to tie his cone of shame to his harness because even though he couldn’t reach his incision by mouth, he was using the cone to dig at his wound. We have been looking for an alternative way to keep him from being sad and depressed and saw this. It looked promising, multiple reviews even said it had been used for other cats that have castrated/spayed and it worked wonders. When it arrived today, it looked smaller than the one in the picture and when I put it on our cat, he was immediately able to reach behind him and access his incision. I even tried the tying method with his harness and the orange because anything is better than the horrid plastic cone but it still wasn’t enough and he was able to reach around. We have a domestic shorthair so it’s not like he’s abnormally small or large. We have had to revert back to the cone of shame and harness with the tying method. I’m giving this product 3 stars because while it wasn’t able to keep him from reaching his incision, it’s adorable, it’s very soft and comfortable, and it did brighten his mood while he had it on, he just seemed happier. Hope this helps.

Game changer
Our cat needed an ear removed due to a tumour, and had to wear a collar for 14 days after the operation. Having used a "cone of shame" after her initial biopsy, she hated it and managed to remove it the first night. I tried various other options but this worked like a dream. It does not affect peripheral vision, and our cat could eat, drink and sleep with it on. Easy to put on and take off. I did get both sizes as the sizing guide indicated she needed the bigger size (she weighs 3.8 kg/ over 8lb) but the smaller size fitted and was much more suitable. Delighted with this product.

Perfecto
Es lindo, llegó un día antes y no le incomoda. Como este gato se lame mucho se está quedando pelón, así que queríamos conseguirle un cono pero este es mucho mejor. Al principio quiso quitárselo pero se acostumbró rápidamente. Totalmente recomendado!!

Not Perfect But Close
SLIGHTLY less saturated in color then photos advertise but still very much nice, not something most would be able to tell the difference. VERY soft and clearly comfortable for my cat who instantly settled in for a nap when trying it on. Do advise that some cats can and will work this off, so it is not a leave on and forget. The cording in it has almost no stretch as well, which is both good and bad as you have to be mindful of where it hangs. ALWAYS check that you can fit at least 2-3 fingers between the cat and the band easily to avoid accidental choking from over tightening the band. If you are crafty, replacing the cord with a carefully measured elastic or even slipping a fitted break-away collar would bring this to up to a perfect product.

Adorable and soft
My kitten is small but not medium she weighs 4.5 lbs is a total spaz. She only got this off one time. I ordered small and it fit her well. The soft fabric made rubbing on her incision less abrasive so it can heal vs vet cone which she was also able to get it off once as well and it rubbed incision much more abrasively. I wish it was wider around bc she is able to push cushion down to lick but was unable to do this with her vet cone since it is stiffer on end. If it were slightly wider it would prevent that but then it might be too heavy or large for a kitty neck. Finding cones that work for kittens is extremely difficult and I’ve fostered tons of kittens. No matter the cone they eventually can kick it off. I foster bottle babies so they tend to be smaller and I’ve tried the body suits but smalls are too small and medium is way too large so cones are normally my only option. I loved this bc it’s soft, fit her tiny body, allows her to eat and drink better than stiffer vet cones. I wish you could also tuck in the string that tightens neck area bc kittens love to bite and chew a string. I safety pinned it to back side of collar, not ideal but it works. Overall for kittens this was a cute option and worked as well as any other cone for kittens since they are master body contortionists. For me this was a great purchase and zero regrets.
