Creative Expressions Metallic Gilding Polish, Blossom

I love love love Cosmic Shimmer Gilding Polish. This color, Blossom, is a beautiful soft pink. It’s my favorite one out of all the colors. I actually have about 9 different ones. Each bottle comes with a sponge to use as an applicator. This gilding polish is super easy to use, and the options are endless as far as to what you can use it for. I definitely recommend this product!

This color (blossom) gives a very soft pink pearl shine to white cardstock and more dramatic response on black and dark colored cardstock. Just lovely on embossed pieces for a design that quietly pops off the page.

Pretty color, lovely shimmer, especially on craft paper (brown) or black stock ... but doesn’t show up so great on white paper. It was also more “gunky” than expected ... not really smooth. It goes really quickly! (You lose a lot in brushes, even when trying to be stingy with it.) The built-in “sponge” would easily rip to shreds if using with stencils - so you have to use some other applicator, if using with stencils. But, still, it’s a pretty pearly polish.

I am an avid crafter of paper and glass and the shimmer sponge only picks up shimmer at the edges. The sponge does not spread an even layer and it doesn't look good on a larger area, I suppose it using as an accent on the end of a flower petal it might be okay. I am highly disappointed in the product and had to wait a long time to receive one of the 4 I ordered.
