5 STARS!!!!! I absolutely love this gumball machine! I use it in a unique way — instead of gum, I fill it with 1” capsules that each hold the title of a book from my TBR pile (to-be-read books, for non-readers). It works perfectly right out of the box and adds so much fun to choosing my next read. I use quarters to operate it, which doubles as my “book money” — no new book purchases until I’ve saved enough from using the machine. It’s turned my TBR into a reward system, and I’m obsessed. I call her “Reading Roulette”. The capsules fit just right, and the machine works smoothly on the first try every time. It comes with two keys, is easy to disassemble and reassemble, and looks far more elegant and classy in person than any video or photo can capture. It’s become both a functional piece and a conversation starter in my reading space. My only minor complaint is that it’s lightweight — I do wish it had a little more weight to it, just so it wouldn’t shift slightly when turning the knob. But that’s a small issue in an otherwise flawless experience. If you’re looking for something fun, stylish, and practical (especially with a bookish twist), this gumball machine is a total win! Listen, it was hard for me to decide which machine to buy because theirs very little reviews. But I took a leap, and purchaced this one. It was very easy to get started, it's never gotten jammed so far, it works really well. I have it in my living room, it looks nice, well made. Overall, you can't beat the price! & I got it so my kiddos could get paid in 'kindness nickles' for helping around the house. So far, it's working! Anyways. I would recommend this to anyone.

Love these machines. I spray painted them pink and used them for a candy table. I tweaked them a bit and made them so that they are able to spin without any coins :) I ordered a second one and the lid was cracked :( I still love the machine but I’m going from 5 star to 4 hopefully they can replace it for me.

Nice machine but definitely only for casual use in a house and for kids. The entire bottom section is plastic as opposed to other machines that are a cast metal material. The coin mechanism seems pretty durable though, but the top plastic “Square Globe” did have a bit of scratching on the sides. Overall, a fun, novelty item to use as a piggy bank, and a decent price.

The quality of this is supreme. Solid, heavy, real glass, excellent mechanics. Highly recommend!

Product looks and works as advertised.

I’m an author and I bought this for a completely non-candy reason. I turned it into a free spin (remove the pictured pieces; there’s two layers of the mechanism to go through) as a way to grab attention of passersby with the 1/15 chance of winning a special edition book box (otherwise win a coloring page). It was the perfect size for my table, and it was a huge hit! People loved it and had a lot of fun, plus brought a lot of attention to my booth. I repainted it and it looks SO PRETTY and I can’t wait to add more decorative details to it for future events. PRO TIP: How to perfectly remove the stickers: use a hair dryer on high heat to peel off in one piece, then apply olive oil to a paper towel and rub and rub until residue is gone. I got flawless results! Money well-spent! (I used 1.1” capsules and stored the extra mechanism pieces in a bag in the coin collection part since that space wasn’t being used anyway)
