I absolutely love this hair brush for slick back ponytails. I am a competitive athlete and need my hair to hold. This brush makes my hair hold even without gel. I have been on the hunt for a good brush since I lost mine. None of the other brushes worked for my thick and long hair. I finally bought this even though it is a men’s brush and I’m a woman. It works perfectly. It has the perfect strength and doesn’t hurt my head.

The description is accurate except for no indication of bristle length. They are just under 3/4" long. I would say it's medium stiffness and has a rather tightly packed bristle configuration. Note "5 rows of nylon reinforced boar bristles" means that it is stiffer than just boar bristles by themselves. It's not soft and I still wouldn't want to push it hard across my scalp, but it's flexible and isn't going to hurt or damage hair. Good for finer styling too. This is a big improvement over my very cheap very hard plastic bristle brush that I don't want to drag over my head and can damage or pull out hair too easily.

Bristles are sturdy without being harsh on the scalp. Works really well even with my unruly hair. My hair is short but this still works really well on it.

I feel like this was false advertisement because this sure isn't boar brushed it boar mixed with idk what. Gonna check them once I saw them I wasn't interested in them. Buyers beware

Fantastic, just what I wanted. It's soft, the brush quality is top notch, thickness is perfect. It is durable and will last years. I don't use it for detangling my hair, I use it for my chest hair. Brushing ability does not hurt.

The Diane Medium Firmness Reinforced Boar brush is excellent quality! It gives a firm but comfortable grip on my hair, smoothing it down perfectly without pulling. Great for waves and keeping hair neat and styled. Definitely a must-have grooming tool.

This medium Diane brush has the perfect stiffness and I love the shape of these brushes. I originally purchased the soft Diane brush which I really liked but it wasn't quite firm enough, I now have both. I start with a medium and finish with the soft brush. Dog loves being brushed with these brushes. Would definitely recommend both the soft and the medium.

great brush, I love it

I was hoping for this brush to smooth out the hair specially when I put my hair up in a ponytail. It doesn’t feel like I have much control when I use it and it only touches the surface of my hair. It does not go down to the roots.. I’m still trying to learn the tricks about this type of brush but so far it does not perform as I was expecting it. However, it looks like a nice item, well manufactured. It feels good in your hand as the handle and the brush itself it’s wide.
