I went with this brand even though it was a little more expensive. I am so pleased I invested in quality. This shikifuton is wonderful and I love sleeping on it. I bought the recommended washable zip over cover. It fits perfectly over your futon and allows you to protect it.

The mattress cover fits well and appears to be a good quality cotton knit. Very satisfied so far!

Fits my shikibuton perfectly, but shrunk a bit, which makes wiggling the sleeping pad into the cover a tricky weekly undertaking.

Sheet arrived in a timely fashion (next day). Weave and zipper are tight enough to prevent bed bug invasion. Cloth is soft enough to comfortably sleep all night long. I recommend this product.

Seems good. It doesn't shrink much in the wash, but always hang-dry it. It's not for the dryer. I've had other futon covers, but this one seems the softest. Very nice. I'll be curious to see how durable it is.

ok material, but it is way too small. as the other reviews point out, it shrinks strongly at the first wash. i can not zip it up any more. what a shame
