how many oz. for a king bed?

I use 8 oz. about every 6 months in my 40 year old king size. (I had to replace the mattress once 23 years ago due to cat claw damage).

i have a waterbed with the fiber sections in it. I have always used one specifically made for these types. Now I can't find it- will this work for me?

We used it in a fiber filled waveless waterbed for years. Worked fine.
