how much time (in months/years) it lasts?

My car is always exposed to the sun and the restoration lasted 2 1/2 years. I highly recommend this product. I'm purchasing it again, it's worth it.

My car is 15 years old. I have kept the lenses clear with plastic cleaner polish. Can i apply this on them without any sanding ?

Hello George. The lens does not have to be sanded, however for best adhesion of the coating to the lens, it should be sanded with the P3000 grit sanding disc that comes with the kit.

Do you sand by hand or drill ?

I wet sand with 1000 grit and then 3000 grit by hand and then follow by polishing with a 3” pad by drill with polishing compound. Then I use the product for final finish and protection.

How soon can I take my car to the car wash after applying the clear coat. Also can I do the cloth car wash on my?

The 3M Quick Headlight Clear Coat require 1 hour to dry before it can be exposed to any sort of precipitation. I would suggest waiting 24 hours to dry before any physical touching of the coating.
