Using this in an Audi A3. Turn the steering wheel upside down so the biggest gap is at the bottom and hook on.Very sturdy and secure, just enough room for a small laptop and a mouse, or a slightly bigger laptop. Shown here with a MacBook Pro 13".Two sides of the shelf can be used, the opposite side has a cup holder indentation so could be used as a table to eat and drink at in the car as well. Good value.

This item is compatible with most vehicle steering wheels but unfortunately not with a Seat Altea 2007. It is compatible with a 2006 Honda Civic. However despite this, the quality is of a rigid plastic material capable of holding drinks, food and more in a good position for you to enjoy your meal in the comfort of your own car!

Bought this for use in work at incidents ,so I can take information over the radio and write them down with ease while parked up.Vehicle in work is a Merc Vito and the design of the steering wheel ,I had to turn the steering wheel base from 6oclock to the 12 o clock position so the table fits ,this isn't a big deal and other vehicles this may now be an issue.

It’s nothing fancy but does the job well. It holds my laptop really nicely and it’s great when you stuck in car and have to work on the go. I wouldn't change it and can recommend it.

Don't believe the sturdy design nonsense. I've used folded paper with higher strength.
