Rolanstar Bookshelf 5 Tiers

I just finished putting this shelving unit together and wanted to write a review right away. I am very impressed with the quality of the unit! It is exactly what I had needed for the space I was filling. It is extremely sturdy and looks to be very durable. I received all of the necessary parts, and I put it together with absolutely no issues. The weight, size and stability of this unit is perfect. I am extremely happy with my purchase. If you are looking for something that is on the narrow side but looks great, I highly recommend it.

This is a quality piece perfect size and space between shelving. The hardware was on point in the assembly. No missing parts. Very stable when assembled. Great addition to my kitchen to store items that normally took up counter space. I recommend.

✅ I love the way the book shelves adjust depending on how many books I have. Since I had more books I used all 5 shelves ✅ I am 6ft 2in and this book shelf’s at max height is right below my chin so it tall. The width allows for multiple books of all shapes and sizes which I appreciate. ✅ I also like the wood color as it blends in with my house. The foot pegs at the bottom can adjust to make the height taller. They are rubber so they didn’t mess up my wood floors. ✅ I bought this a few months and it’s beautiful and hold up very well so it’s very durable. I also appreciate the easy to read instructions and the stickers on the racks to tell me where each part goes. ✅ I also like how tools came with it so I didn’t have to buy any

Overall, I am very pleased with this product. I took on assembling this on my own, which was ambitious as to be honest I've never really put together something as big as this. The manual was filled with pictures, and was very easy to follow. I am a 5'4" tall woman, and as it is taller than me, it was a little awkward at times, and I completed the whole shelf in about 2 and a half hours. I had trouble with the wooden backings (labeled 3 in the manual) and couldn't get the screws through completely, which I pictured here. This could be my own inexperience at fault, but if not, it doesn't really affect the integrity of the whole shelf anyway. It's quite sturdy in all other aspects! It has a lot of room for my books, and I love the way you can see through the open sides. There's a lot of room in front of my books on the shelves, which creates a space for me to decorate as I please, which is amazing. I love the hooks that are included! Amazing touch and very handy. Another thing I will say is the shelves themselves are a darker brown than the pictures show- the color I ordered is rustic brown. It still looks very nice, just know to expect that. I definitely recommend this, but maybe ask a friend for help in putting it together!

Easy to assemble. Good looking shelf. Very sturdy.

Perfect width and height for a bedroom bookcase between two doorways, with room for artwork above. However, even though I highly recommend this bookcase there are several issues which the manufacturer should address. 1) The wooden bottom shelves, and side and back pieces are of such different sizes that they can’t be confused with each other. Consequently, they don’t need, in my opinion, all those small round identification stickers. If you do think these are needed, you need to find less sticky ones. These stickers peel off effortlessly from the metal side pieces, but most seemed to be glued to the wood. (The large tip warning peeled off the wood fine) Until (or if) the manufacturer fixes this, remove the stickers from the wood before assembling each piece. As these stickers are affixed willy-nilly, those that are in edges are the most difficult to remove if an adjoining piece partly covers it. Use a damp cloth with a bit of dishwashing liquid to scrape off these stickers. If you use your finger mail directly, you might gouge the wood. You will also need to use this damp cloth to remove the residue from the sticker. Where a sticker would have been useful would be to differentiate the front and back of the side support metal pieces. I mistakenly finished the bookcase in the reverse so that the final step, attaching the cross metal support arms would have been in the front of the bookcase, and I had to partially disassemble, reverse, flip and repeat. (Even so, it still took me longer to remove the stickers from the wood than this extra work!) To easily identify the “back” of the side metal frame — the attached screws to these sections will be at the back of the bookcase, and thus the back of each bookcase shelf with the wooden back lip will also be installed above and below these framework screws. Otherwise, great value - solid piece — and attractive. And if the manufacturer can find less sticky stickers, they will deserve that 5th star which I debated taking away.

A nice solid book shelf. Moderately easy to assemble. Sturdy material used in it's construction. No wobbles or leanings to one side or the other.

Love these bookshelves. They were fairly easy to put together with two people. Sturdy and appears to be great quality. They look great. We've had them for 4 years now and no complaints!
