Very accurate account of the travel process so it's a great buy especially ahead of travel plans. Educational & very interesting!

I'm a big fan of the Maisy first experiences series. My 5 year old has been reading them for a couple of years now and connects well with them. They address most of the concerns a toddler might face in a way that's relatable to the little ones. Colorful illustrations are a big plus too.

We bought this to prepare our 15-month-old for a plane trip and he absolutely loves it. The book does a good job of covering the key points of air travel. Checking in and security are only covered very briefly. Boarding the plane, finding your seat, getting a drink, waiting for the tiny bathroom, landing, and waiting for luggage are covered. The text is very brief but there are details of travel in the pictures that you can talk about with your kids. I was hoping for a book that would help my son be less alarmed by the plane noise and takeoff, and while this doesn’t fully cover those, it gives us a picture to look at while I talk about it. I was biased against ordering this because I tend to avoid popular characters/series, assuming they won’t be well written or clever, but this fit the bill for what we needed and my kiddo loves it. We also got “Playtown Airport” a lift-the-flap book, and he is full-on obsessed with that one. It is much more about the airport and less the traveler experience so I recommend both together.

I'm a huge fan of the Maisy books. We bought this one for a 2-year old ahead of a flight to help to get him excited and know what to expect. He loves the book and it did a great job of making this exciting for him!

The sweetest little book to use as a social story for children before they take their first plane ride. This helped setup our 3 year old for a successful trip!
