Do the dimensions 23x17 include the frame? Or is that the dimensions of the inner cork?

It's definitely a laminate wood frame. It still looks pretty nice, because it's so simple and so small.

I cannot use nails in my leased room. Is there a way i could use this frame without altering my wall?

I gave this item as a gift. However I am a college student now so I was in the same situation as you for hanging anything without nails. I bought Command Strips. If the hook doesn't fit in the holes on the board, using the tape that comes in the Command Strip box works great! I would put a few on each side. Just a suggestion, i hope I've helped at least a bit. All the best!

What is the hardware used for the easy mounting?

I don’t remember the exact hardware but I remember being very impressed with the ease of installing and it even comes with a measuring tape.

Great Value

My husband wanted a cork board to put near his desk at work. I started looking and was surprised at how expensive they can be for just some basic cork with an ugly metal frame. I ended up finding this one and it has a fairly wide wood frame around it. It looks so much nicer than the others and was less than a quarter of the price. My husband wasn't sure he would like it until we hung it up and now he loves it. It looks really nice and is holding everything he wanted to hang on it.

Big, sturdy, and affordable!!

So Big!! I thought it was much smaller but it was quite large and was very good quality. Bought for my daughter's bedroom and was amazing!! Highly recommend, and it was on sale!!
